What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week? (51 Viewers)

Nothing, didn't even start it this week. I'm thinking I should take a trip up in the mountains this weekend, look for some trout.

We usually head up to the Smoky Mountains of NC for a week of fly fishing this time of year. The Browns and Rainbows are off the hook the 1st part of October because of the bug hatch. We use dry flies so we have to hit em' before the leaves start falling on the creek. Never done any nymph fishing. But, a close friend of mine is getting married so it's going to trump my trip this year.

Jealous of Montana.

I had the same issue in some spots, luckily no metal was exposed or cut, it was just a little body filler here and there.


Of course yours is a helluva lot nicer looking than mine!

But you are also driving yours........

Weather cooled off and set up the RTT and trailer rig for the inaugural night of camping.

Is it still camping if it’s in your back yard?!?

I say yes.
Camped down by the creek that runs trough the middle of my property about a quarter mile away.
Decided the bathroom was to far away so if it is to far to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night then it is camping.

Got my heated seats working and my center console fitted.

Seats and switches from a 150 Prado.

Pulled it back into the garage. Continuing to put her back together.
One issue is the tool box lid. It has a hole in it from po speaker. I'm thinking i may open it up a bit and add a 6 inch sub woofer and run a hidden bluetooth system. In the toolbox. Nice and tidy.
Thoughts?

@voyager:01 its a besttop tumble seat for the Fj. Then I supported the attachment to seat with 1 inch angle iron from under the bed so the bolts would be supported. The toddler seat is buckled in as well as ratchet strapped in to the roll bar and the seat belt ring at on the floor of the tube. She’s not going anywhere. I’ll post up actual pics tommorrow.

Took apart all my hard work and removed my 60 series steering box for a rebuild.
