@AutaviaFJ40 I had the same issue in my ‘78 with the carb cooling fan. I believe ‘78 was the first year for the “hidden” inline fuse tucked “way” up under dash!! Nice work.its still early in the week, but im knocking out several small tasks. Now that the AC is working, I was finally able to install some parts I have been accumulating.
1- 3D printed Center console cup holder and ashtray installed complete with two USB ports
2- Jack and Jack handles restored and finally installed. Found the correct mounting clips from Cruiser Parts.
3- Installed my hood latch and air intake scoop and hose.
4- and finally got the carb cooling fan working. After tracing all the wiring, cleaning all the contacts on each connector and pulling the relays under the dash (royal PITA)...I discovered it was a blown fuse all along (also hidden under the dash in an impossible location to access.

Took me 3 tries to get mine right. And I did brakes like this for a living for a few years in the '80s. Once they are right, they work very well.Screwed with my 4 wheel drums more. These things are killing me.
But they are getting closer to right......
I just installed the city racer LED lights, were the superbrightleds plug and play or did you have to replace the flasher relay? I’d like to do the same as you.New LED headlights from CityRacer and LED marker and turn signals from Superbrightleds.

I had to install an electronic flasher relay. LEDs did not draw enough electricity to work the mechanical flasher. Bought at NAPA. Price was reasonable approx $30.I just installed the city racer LED lights, were the superbrightleds plug and play or did you have to replace the flasher relay? I’d like to do the same as you.
I don't recall seeing one with extra circuits. But that doesn't mean they don't exist. Maybe a later year that has A/C or something? or I'm sure if you don't mind going out of the stock realm there are lots of options with more modern fuses.Nice...I just added this to my list. I need to add a few additional fuses, do they make a larger version?
The PO added a few of these taps...which only make it more fiddly.
