Damn...wish I could buy that pristine looking TBI off of you but shipping would be extreme ;)
Engine and transmission went to a new home as part of a trade. I'll be using an aftermarket harness and reprogrammed PCM, so the conversion is pretty straight forward. Same Lokar shifter, radiator, etc.

My world is pewter today

Nice paint booth!

My old Viair compressor ( duty cycle about 25% at this point ) is wearing out and I'm tired of dragging it out from under the seat, hooking it up, airing up, letting it cool to the touch and packing it back up. So, today, I started installing my new Viair 380, under the hood, in place of my heater blower.

It will be hardwired, but will not initially have an air tank or a pressure switch... It's 100% duty cycle and all I do is air up... No lockers... Not sure where I can install an air tank... So, I'll wire a switch, next to it, for now...

I reserve the right to add an air tank and a pressure switch, as the need arises.

Finally finished up my 75 fst seat restoration project.
This is the first time I've installed seat covers myself, and I have to say it was much easier than I thought it would be. It's like a lot of jobs with these old trucks, seems difficult until you educate yourself.

Seats in the truck when I purchased it. No clue what they came out of. Sold them on Craigslist to a play house who is currently using them in a play in our local town

Here are the OEM seats I started with

Stripped them down - they were nasty and rusty
Put them in a baby pool vinegar/water for a couple of weeks

Pulled them out and pressure washed them to clean metal

Primed and painted frames

My rig had Carb/Fuel issues, stalled a few blocks from house, started getting calls from wife.
"Do you need a ride? Someone just called and asked, 'is your husband driving that jeep thing cause it looks like he's broke down?"
My response ,"No Ill be home in a minute!"
Well...for the first time in 10yrs I had to call her back and get towed home. Guess I need to tighten up.

I feel your pain! I reported the same a couple of months ago... But, my wife had to tow me 20 miles down what's basically a VERY dusty, rough 2-track and I had to keep the Windows up to keep from choking to death.

That was the only time ( thus far ) that I wasn't able to get it going again, on the trail... I killed the battery and my JumpBox, trying to figure it out.

It turned out that a new coil died, after only 2 months... I put the old (spare) coil back on and she's running fine.

I also have a Halo Bolt now... Touted to allow 500+ jumps without recharging... I hope that's enough!

Yesterday I installed the weather stripping on the drivers door, the tunnel cover and heater box.

I also picked up my new club t shirt yesterday that nearly matches the color of my 45.
