Had an alignment done after replacing a leaky PS gearbox. Then had to replace a bad fuel pump. Fun.

I don't need any more GOLD!You're overthinking this, Mike... it's the end of the road. There's no pot of gold there.

Have you checked that you didnt run out of oil?Just have to brag for a minute. I buttoned up the 40 yesterday and drove it almost all day. Woke up this morning, checked the garage floor underneath it, and not a drop of oil anywhere to be seen. Nothing from the transfer case, ebrake, transmission, oil cooler or pan, engine rear seal, side or front cover, nor anything from either diff. Never been the case in my 11 years of ownership. The hard work has paid off. At least until something starts leaking next month...![]()

MrT will not be happy with you... You removed all the rust proofing capabilities of the integrated rust quenching inhibitors .... Yet another thing you didn't think about...![]()

Is that a 70 series FF w/locker? Also, what paint/primer did you use? Looks swell.I stripped, sand blasted and painted the rear axle housing this weekend.
