Definitely SC. Hunting island state park to be exact. Tropical storm dropped a lot of rain on an already saturated terrain. No photo shop! Well worth a visit if in the area. Small island, covered with maritime forest and great campgrounds. I'm lucky enough to call it my local beach.

You're overthinking this, Mike... it's the end of the road. There's no pot of gold there.
I don't need any more GOLD!

Are you trying to tell me the myth is not true?

You can not see the gold because there is no rainbow ... Once the rainbow appears it will become clear that the myth is true when the 'pot of gold ahead' sign also appears :)

Just have to brag for a minute. I buttoned up the 40 yesterday and drove it almost all day. Woke up this morning, checked the garage floor underneath it, and not a drop of oil anywhere to be seen. Nothing from the transfer case, ebrake, transmission, oil cooler or pan, engine rear seal, side or front cover, nor anything from either diff. Never been the case in my 11 years of ownership. The hard work has paid off. At least until something starts leaking next month... :)

Have you checked that you didnt run out of oil? :D

MrT will not be happy with you... You removed all the rust proofing capabilities of the integrated rust quenching inhibitors .... Yet another thing you didn't think about... :meh:

Your always talking about this rust thing. Been searching my cruisers for years and have yet to find anything on the body or frame that didn't look it it can that way from the factory.:hmm::rolleyes:

I stripped, sand blasted and painted the rear axle housing this weekend.

@mdsims you are correct on the axle and have its mate for the front. I'm using Krylon rattle cans. I have had this kind of finish with it for decades.

Pulled the front bib off to replace a rusted out hinge and bust off some surface rust from the radiator support and sorround.
