Im really interested in the steering column part of the install. so If anyone knows where it is please post a link!

Thanks.

Up sized the 4+ Cooler holder to the Yeti 45qt. And mounted my Hi-Lift. And secured everything with a cable lock so nothing grows feet....

Finally got the front heater blower motor resistor installed, aside from having to reposition the brackets it was fun. Got the housing all cleaned up, steel wooled and ready for some primer and paint. Excited that the bench test resulted in the return of both speeds. Hoping that the rear heater switch will work now that the primary switch should fire in both positions.

Found a donor 3speed transmission and t-case on Ebay Christmas morning for $100! Hope its salvageable. Not sure what I'm going to do with it or when, but figured it was a good price.

Well Happy New Year Folks

Peace

I taped the inside of my horn button so it doesn't rattle when I let it warm up in the morning

I put new wheel bearing seals in and replaced the star tab washer things for the bearing adjustment on the front wheels.

Probably gonna work on rigging up a hand throttle today with a bike shifter from work.

I'd like to see how you managed the throttle control via shifter, I was thinking the same thing, STI? Friction? Whats your thoughts?

Thanks

Garrett

I found THIS (< $36 with free shipping) hand throttle all I needed... mounts where you want it... I mounted it on the gear shift... ran the cable thru the firewall on the passenger side, then over the valve cover and directly to the bellcrank on carb linkage.

I don't know what you mean by 'adjuster'... try this one 60 series steering column into a 40

That is pretty genius!, did you run bicycle shift cable and housing or did you fab something else? Hmmmm, I'm going to have to take a look at what I can use, my 71 has the dash mounted knob but the housing and cable where cut by PO's. The versatility of your setup is nice.
