Diff and Tcase fluid swap. I did this about 25k ago and I was really surprised to see how clean and clear the gear oil was. Mobile 1 FWIW. The magnetic plugs were all very clean too. I did this when I purchased the truck a couple years ago and the oil was brown and the mag plugs were coated. Nice to see things are back to a healthy state.

I also rebuilt part of the parking brake cable system. As is the case with my crusty cruiser, pretty much every bolt that needed to be unscrewed to replace the cables snapped. On the positive, I always replace everything with new OEM bolts so next owner (if that ever happens) will never have to deal with my pain as I've now removed and replaced just about every M8 bolt on the entire underside of the truck. Drilling and re-threading probably half of them, if not more over the years. Anyway, end result is a perfectly functioning parking brake, tested on some very steep hills.

You've got the dream garage set up. Wished I had the height to put a lift in, so much nicer than sliding around on the ground.

Nice set up.

Walked out after letting the Cruiser sit in the rain for a couple of days and checked the rear cargo area for water. Found a wet carpet & pad a while back, but never found the source of the leak.
It's back.

Sunday, it's raining, might as well find it now....
Take out a couple of parts... look for water....

Seems to be dripping on top of the speaker housing....

Do a search on MUD and find info on the 1/4 window belt moulding leaking around the clips.
Yep, that's it.

Off to search for sealant and parts tomorrow.
Be sure to check all mounting bolts tightness. My rear window was leaking and it was due to one of the hinge mounting bolts being pretty loose.

Thanks abuck! It is a nice luxury for sure. It's more for storing a weekend car but it has come in really handy for some maintenance. If I want to take a wheel off I still do that on the garage floor.

At times I find myself sitting under the LC with nothing to do, just looking at things. Some may call that an addiction.

Just ordered 295/70 R18 ridge grapplers.
Really hope they fit without rubbing.

Looking good! Were you able to get those mini female connectors to work or did you go with another approach?

Please post up pics when you get them on. Also leaning toward a set of these

Guessing you have a 335 (or body variants) going off of your username?

Pfran LED , 12" led bars, trail tailor recovery point. Thanks to n55 for some of the wiring guidance.

Looks really good, I like how you have the light bars set up. How difficult was that install, what did you use? Was about to place the pfran order yesterday, interior and reverse light for my LC, or my wife's LX, so many things to do, does it make a big difference?

I found an easy way (for me a least) to tell that my zerks are facing down!

I remembered I had the GoPro app on my iPad so I set the camera under the truck and connected to the iPad via the WiFi then jumped in and moved the rig exactly where I needed it to be by watching the iPad screen.

Worked great, lol...

That and my new Bones creeper from NT. Man it's sweet!

This is an excellent idea..My wife came outside thinking something was wrong when she saw me in the driveway getting in and out of the truck and looking under it..I told her and she just said "I have no idea what any of that means" rolled her eyes and went back in...

 My wife says I'm crazy. I think she is for letting me get away with it but either way I added a 4th LC to my club / collection (the wife now says no more searching craigslist). I promise the newest one is only temporary. It needs a head gasket replaced, then it will find its way to another owner. After that I will get more serious about parting out my parts truck leaving me with only two Cruisers. :( I was going to sell the black on as well but the wife likes it, so its her new DD and I get to keep our original white one (with light bar in bumper) as my DD / project truck / adventure rig. After selling two trucks I should have a decent cushion in my toy fund to add some goodies on my DD! Either way my buddies think I'm trying to start a Toyota dealership in my driveway.

Funny I did the same thing searching CL for LX parts. End up with 3 LX, which I sold (fast) once winter hit here in Denver. I'm left with just my LC for now, but looking at two more now. CL is addictive as is the 100 series.;)

I told my wife last night if we could get two of the Cruisers to snow country we could sell the for a little more. We have family in the SLC area so I'm always trying to come up with a scheme to get out that direction.

Started the high-flow PUMA set up in our LX470. The system will be built with speed in mind. It will be a 100% live set up with no tank, pressure switch, offloading valve, or relay. The plan is to use a 3/8" hose with all hi flow fittings. Another inch comes off the base keeping the mount and compressor from extending past the fender well.
