What is involved in a full paint correction? Your LX looks flawless!

Thanks mate, it's getting there.

My paint was excellent to begin with so basically A good clay bar, then a 3000 grit wet sand, then 3 stages of very light non abrasive compound then 3 stages of wax with the final being a sealer wax.

From my detailing experience (6+ years as a side job) a full detail includes the following

-wash
-decontamination (chemical and claying)
-paint correction (as needed) can be anything from a All in One polish to a full 3 step correction.
-wipe down to remove polishing oils
-some sort of protection (paint coating, sealant, wax)
-interior vacuum, wipe down, deep clean seats
-remove wheels and clean inside and out and protect with coating or sealant
-underbody, wheel wells, door sills.

It looks great! I would love to wetsand my truck. Maybe once the time comes to re-up my paint coating in a couple of years.

I have never tried the wet sanding. I have done the clay bar treatments about once a year, and the Dual orbital polish and wax. Will have to try the wet sand and the sealer wax and paint coating.

End result.

Can we get a good pic of that recovery point?

:D
Looks really good, I like how you have the light bars set up. How difficult was that install, what did you use? Was about to place the pfran order yesterday, interior and reverse light for my LC, or my wife's LX, so many things to do, does it make a big difference?

Search lx470 led light bar- there's a build thread. All parts are listed there. Basically the led, wire kit, and long bolt. Pfran led will make a big difference at camp at night. Works well. Just no instructions. Check the polarity if the lights not working.

Brakes, rotors, oil, filter... and a big sticker! It's funny... I spent so much time making the 100 all shiny... then slapped a big matte blackout panel on the hood. But man - soooo much nicer when that sun is low!

Just purchased this 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser a few days ago. One family owned with 149,000 miles on it. First thing I did was take the running boards off, then today I bought 5 285/75/16 KO2s to rotate around.

Did my sway bar rubber bits yesterday, front and rear.

See my thread for the corrected part number for the front bolts the FSM says to replace. You need (4)

Rides a LOT better, had a lot of left to right sway, felt solid as always but the body really rolled before you felt the sway bars going to work.

This may be next on my to do list. What was your total cost?

All the parts were 141.00, it's nice to have stuff overnighted for free I guess. I did research poly and just chose to go factory rubber.

However the correct part number for those front four bolts may make it a tad less.

You need (4) 90119-08B50, thanks @TheForger :D

EDIT: Correct bolts below...
Note red type stuff on threads from factory. Red Loctite? Or Toyotas version of Blue Loctite?

Throw us a bone man!

We wanna see that steering wheel, :D

Picked it up on eBay in 2015 and just finally got around to installing it. The leather is a decent match, but the wood is lighter than the faux wood kit that was on the LC when I bought it. No big deal; way better than the original that was falling apart in my hands.
