Drilled many holes in firewalls, just make sure you have the proper clearance on each side before you start. I can't speak for the 100 series, but I don't see why that wouldn't work as long as nothing's in the way.

Problem is I can't see behind the wall at all, I removed everything I could from the inside , including the ECU and there was still lothere in the way. Was hoping to cut and use a fish line which is why I was asking here if anyone has drilled that spot with success and no damage on the other side.

Looked for a while and couldnt find a spot. I'll try again tomorrow. It's surprisingly cramped in there for such a large dashboard.

I remember that I could see the bundle of wires (in the left-most grommet in your pic) coming into the cab when laying on the passenger floorboard. You just have to jam your head up in that dark place as best you can and get to spelunking. Then you can determine if there is an empty space around it to drill through.

With all the bad 100 thread on vibs from spacers this should be a waste of time.
The factory jack with adapter makes for a safe install.

To give myself the best chance I clean all mating surfaces spotless. First test drive <55 is looking good. Sunday I hook up the boat and head out. So far zero vibs the only thing different about my LX470 and most others is Im part time. Maybe the game changer with IFS and spacers I do like the look with the the spacers and the narrow tires I run.

In the last few months:

Replaced the starter. That was fun.

Plati-dipped stuff
- Emblems for practice
- Grill for more practice
- Wheels, no longer practice. Came out great.
- Side trim. I'm addicted.

Tint on windows. It's hot in AZ. Helps a ton. Don't know why I waited so long.

Running Boards off and sold!

New wheels and tires from neighbor. Thanks Rich.

Torsion bars leveled front end and L/R. That was easy.

Grill guard off and sold.

Are those 1.25"... am thinking of getting the bora 1.50" -- my current tires are 285/75/16... Look forward to your updates on how well they work for you

The spacer are 1", stock wheel offset, and my tires 275/70-18 slightly taller and narrower than a 285/75-16. I do like the look and hoping for no issues poping up in the future.

So, I have a logistical question for you guys.

Two weeks ago we redid my rear brakes and rotors. I could jack up my truck, remove the wheels, do almost everything I needed to do while my husband coached...

EXCEPT I could not reinstall the wheels. He showed me his trick: sit indian style, use your arms as a lever, and simply raise it up. I tried for 15 minutes and couldn't pull it off. I regularly throw 50 lb. bags of grain over my shoulder...I have some upper body strength. I found it maddening that I couldn't do this and even more frustrating that I needed him to do it for me.

Do you guys have any suggestions for me? He was out of ideas. I plan on getting bigger tires when I finally lift this thing so the issue will only get worse for me...

Roll it up on your foot.

With careful jack height you set the tire at an angle (bottom inward) and tip it on without lifting the tire/wheel at all.

Indian-style (almost, but not quite) lever move was how I did it when I had my tire shop. The trick allows you to mostly use your lower body muscles to do the lifting. One person can do 37"+ tires that way without breaking a sweat. Lower the lift so that the truck (with the wheel/tire on it) would be like 1 mm off the ground to minimize the work. This is key.

Sit on the ground and keep your feet on either side of the tire. If you are doing it correctly, your forearms rest on the inside of your calves. Support the tire on your hands and support all the weight on your arms/legs and then rotate your ankles or point your toes to lift and get the wheel on the lugs. Super quick and easy.
