Wow, 864K! Sorry for the failure but kudos to getting that many miles.

Any secrets to putting almost a million miles on the engine? Were you using synthetic oil??

Thanks

What size are your LEDs in the front lower bumper grilles and how hard were they to install? I have a couple 14" ones that I think will fit in my LX 470 grilles, but not 100% sure of it.

They are 9" 54 w lights:

Auxbeam® 9" 54W LED Light Bar 3780lm-5400lm Flood 3W CREE Chips 9-32V for Off-road Vehicle Pickup Car SUV Truck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T8UYCHA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_n4ZZxbWSD53FN

I used one flood and one spot.

Install was harder than it needed to be. I installed without moving bumper cover so it was tricky. All that needs to happen is drill a hole through the 2" bumper bar behind the bumper cover. Then buy bolts that are long enough to go thru bar. 1 hole per light.

If you can remove the bumper cover it would seriously take minutes to mount the lights. You still have to consider install time for wires and switch but that was our straight forward.

I can post up more pix if needed...

Probably because its a diesel, I think the most I've seen on a gas engine was 600k, I'm sure there is some with more, but diesels generally last over 500k without any special maintenance.

Yes, @n55luvr, more please. How do they perform IYO?

View attachment 1317736 Added a few hp with a couple of window mods...
Hey! That's my joke!

They aren't too shabby for a $50 investment. They outperform the high beams. I'll try to get some additional pictures up by this weekend. I might do a stand alone thread to show the wiring, button I used and it's location along with close ups of how they are mounted.

She is going get some new tint tomorrow
Damn....makes me wish I was a morning person:D

I don't know how to post pictures or I would.
Finally had time to sit down and work on it. Put a new steering rack in and new tie rod ends on.

Can't wait to drive it. Never seen such sloppy tie rod ends or so much play in a rack. Still have a lot more to do before driving it again. Should feel like a new car

Color matched my grill. Side moldings next ...

Before with Plasti Dip

After ...

Never mind... see below....
