I through my rack on it, borrowed a basket, loaded up with gear, grabbed a few friends and took off to Big Bend National Park to hit some trails.

After reading so many threads about washing the engine, I'm finally trying it. These are before and during pics.

i know it would be best to lower then do the alignment, but would it really effect it to have the alignment done, get the toe out as far as possible, then adjust the t bars? Its not going to get the alignment in spec anyways without aftermarket arms, if anything i would think after lowering the front it would put it more in spec that anything? Thoughts? If that makes sense....

I'd lean towards adjusting the height before the alignment. About the only spec that you may have an issue with is caster.

All new F/R sway bar bushings to stop annoying pop.. also did the arb breather kit that's been laying around for months.

My 1999 Land Cruiser only has 106,000 miles but it spent most of it's life in Arizona so the heat and sun had taken a toll on the leather seats. A local guy came to my house last week and did a great job on them. He filled all the cracks, sanded the leather and then died the seats for $85 for the front and middle row. The middle row looks even better but I didn't get a pic of them. It was a lot cheaper than putting new leather on and looks almost as good. He also did the armrest and console lid.

That's amazing, wish that guy was located in Austin.

Indian-style (almost, but not quite) lever move was how I did it when I had my tire shop. The trick allows you to mostly use your lower body muscles to do the lifting. One person can do 37"+ tires that way without breaking a sweat. Lower the lift so that the truck (with the wheel/tire on it) would be like 1 mm off the ground to minimize the work. This is key.

Sit on the ground and keep your feet on either side of the tire. If you are doing it correctly, your forearms rest on the inside of your calves. Support the tire on your hands and support all the weight on your arms/legs and then rotate your ankles or point your toes to lift and get the wheel on the lugs. Super quick and easy.

Exactly!

Worked on removing the wood trim... used a hair drier to heat it up and goo be gone to assist. Any recommendations. I'm not done and have a ways to go...

the pieces I could take off easily I put in the oven at 180 for ten minutes - all door switches and stereo surround. The vents I took off in place. It's still 100 outside in lousyanna.
Oven will make them come off in smaller pieces but no goo gone needed. It will be faster than fingernails, or plastic trim removal tools. And I have a lot off those.
Bottom console I haven't messed with yet.

I also wanted to say thanks to the seat latch cover guy with the pictures. That has been bugging me since I bought the car two weeks ago.

Changed the fan clutch that locked up on me the other day. My truck sounded like a Cessna 172 driving down the road. Now it is so quiet. haha

Did my switch to Mobil 1. I'm hoping for no leaks. I tried to change my fuel filter, but that nut will not budge. I thought I was going to snap the fuel line. I PB Blasted it, but still no movement. Sucks, I'll have to pay some to change it down the line. I noticed a slight oil wetness on my front diff from when I changed it in the spring. Think I need a new plug? I tighten it to spec.

Did you change the washer (gasket). They must be replaced on every drain & fill plugs, every time they are removed.
