Installed new oil pressure switch PITA!, pressure gauge now reads perfectly. I hope i didn't actually have low/zero oil pressure over the past 2k:meh: Amazon.com: Standard Motor Products PS336 Oil Pressure Switch: Automotive

Installed Weathertech fronts, I think black mats look best with a gray interior

Weekend agenda:
-Track down weak radio signal issue
-Re-clamp passenger out CV boot
-Wetsand and touch up PO's trail tatoos.....

Additional notes: The wheel bearings took care of strange harmonics I was experiencing between 45-55mph. Thanks to Cruiser Outfitters for the excellent (and affordable) kits that they sell...

Thank you!

I was able to get my front end set up correctly once I had all the correct parts! I ordered a replacement 4.30:1 ring and pinion from Toyota since there are no others in the country currently, solid spacer, master rebuild kit and a OEM Toyota LSD carrier from @justdifferentials and a replacement 29 spline "companion" flange from Toyota also. Had to modify the pinion seal dust cover slightly to get depth set correctly. The staff at JT's was more than out going with a few of my dumb questions.

Removed the engine cover - mine (like many) has lost the anti-vibration foam underneath it over the years so in cooler death the cover often rattle at stoplights, etc. It's function is purely cosmetic, and now I never have to hear that stupid rattle again.
Agh... So that's the rattle!

Looks like good mesh of gears. Nice job, you've got skills...

Thank you, I would probably attribute that more to luck, sourcing the service manual, and give or take putting it together and disassembling it more times than I care to share.

*New group 27 battery, Interstate Battery has great customer service plus a mil discount.

*Re-foamed PS front door speaker (I messed up the order or I would have done both doors, Simply Speakers has great customer service too). Here is an outstanding go-by for removing the door panel.

*Lubed window channels (cleaned with Qtip/rubbing alcohol, then sprayed dry silicone lube = much better now).

1. Foam surround was torn all the way around.

2. Cleaning off the old foam and adhesive took the longest time, this was about half way through the process. They have YouTube videos that walk you through the process. Tedious, but easy.

3. Now it sounds good with no distortion. The adhesive smells just like modeling glue btw.

Great pictures! For the window channels, what did you use to lube them - Syl-Glide?

Had the bank 1 cat replied (aftermarket) and new o2 sensors. Replaced the bank 2 cat and O2 sensors last summer. I suspect the PO left bad O2 sensors in place for a while and burned up the cats.

Wire-brushed and painted all the brake calipers black and added some 1.25" Spidertrax spacers.

I replaced the power antenna, damn, that went fast.

Pulled drive shafts to check and grease universals well, check and clean slip yoke (easy to purge old grease by removing zerk and collapsing joint) and replace.

Replaced 9006 lights in head light and fogs with 9012......worth it....

Installed 4x4labs rear bumper, nothing but good things to say bout Luke and 4x4labs....

Will do... wanted to wash it first. .ha..

Eliminated driveshaft thunk. Purge old grease, cleaned the portion of shaft that the seal rides on, partial refill with full synthetic Valvoline moly-fortified Lithium Grease #2. So far, so good. Although the seal on the front d.s. will need replacement soon. That will be for another day. Gearing up for timing belt R & R next weekend.
