Nice. What size light and how did you mount it?

42" Straight CREE

The PO must have done a good job removing the old deflector or it never came with one because there were no holes on the hatch. I used the aluminum feet that came with it, ground them down to match the curve of the hatch. Then pre drilled all the way through used carriage bolts with the flat side on the inside, put a liberal amount of rtv silicone all over them and in the holes, then ran the bolts through placed the supplied rubber spacer down then bolted the feet on. Took me about an hour. Only problem is it howls at speed. I think I need to get some rubber spacers to place in the ribs ever 10" or so to keep them from vibrating in the wind.

Don't judge my rust....

Thats the idea! primarily to be used for off roading, I thought about putting it on a three way switch Off-On-On With Reverse Lights.

But I ended up just putting it on an On-Off switch. I don't want to have it come on in the city and blind others or get a ticket for it.

Nice Urq..... my dad had an 83' that I wish we still had..... loved that car. I did a RS2 build on my old S6avant and always wanted to find an URq to do a build on....

great looking car - enjoy !

I purchased my 94 FZJ-80 about two months ago and had no baseline on the PHH. Decided to purchase the kit for about $30 and replace it. As it turns out mine had been replaced at some time in its history and it was not critical but probably had another year of service left but....who knows. Now I know and it is worth it for a piece of mind.

Nice Audi! Compomotives? I've got a B5 S4 as my DD.

Which Audi? My Urq has it's factory 8" wide ronals that I had powder coated white and my Avant has the multi spoke wheels off the titanium edition B6 A4.

new gauges, bit of a mission thanks to another previous dodgy install, 3m of pipe on the breaker bar to get the old egt bung out, some bright spark thought using a black high tensile bolt in a stainless exhaust was ok :bang: had to pull the dump pipe and retap to suit 1/2" bsp brass bung, just as well, gasket & bolts on exhaust end were stuffed :worms:, then tapped senders into my shiny new intercooler for pre & post temps, FWIW, post temp barely gets over ambient ~40 deg c, hot side was up around 100 c on hills flat in 5th 25+psi boost so >50 deg cooling = awesome intercooler! egts never went over 350 post turbo

Went out into the N. GA mountains with my Land Rover group. We had 2 Defender 90s, one Series 109, one stock LR3 (owned by a Rover collector that bought it last night at 8pm), one BJ70, TWO 200s, one JK Rubi and my 80. It was a good group and the trails were pretty sloppy. I got to use my Lev-O-Gage and add a new mental data point. Pics attached. The outside picture was taken at a very level camera angle from a truly professional photographer...on his iPhone :)

Between holidays is close enough to the weekend. Put some 315s on. First forgot to remove 1.5" wheel spacers - a bit too aggro so deleted them. V happy so far!

Big ups to RS6toFJ80!

Those are all but perfect on that rig.....those rear muflaps don't hit ? Stoked it worked out after 2 months !

To a bigger New Year !

Headed out on a 150mi trip to go hunting and got 80 miles into the trip and all of a sudden my oil pressure gauge was reading "0"!! I immediately pulled over and was freaking out a bit. I have just rebuilt the birfs and power steering and was excited to get out on the road...NOW THIS?!!

Anyway, after doing some investigative work...one of the wires to the oil pressure sending unit had come loose...plugged it back in and BAM! Had oil pressure again and was back on the road. The 3FE still keeps on chugging! Although it did have me puckering quite a bit.....

Where did you get your levo gauge?

You should put a strip of red tape on where your comfort limits are.
