Picked up a NY State 4x4 beach permit and headed to Robert Moses State Park for a surf, then installed a 2.5" OME lift. Very happy with both :)

Wish I'd known you were out there. The kids and I towed the sailboat to Atascadero to sell it on Friday. We just hung out at the park afterward, and made some stops on the way home.

I installed new-to-me center dash vents for the AC. Mine were flopping all around and secured with a folded up business card. I was able to get a set in decent shape, did a little rehab and cleaned them up. Wallah! They are working as new now! Its the little things that get me excited.

After doing the shane's leather install to my front seats several months ago, i finally got around to starting with my middle row. Now my hands are cut up and swollen, and i remember why i put it off for so long!! At least these things look like a million bucks in the end.

I also met up with another cruiser buddy yesterday, and tackled the diffs and tcase gear oil. It might just be seat of our pants perception, but we both felt like our trucks drive a bit smoother now. If you haven't done this already, i would highly recommend. My buddy picked up synthetic gear oil from wally world for his at like $5 a quart, which means it's not even all that pricey a job. get the crush gaskets from beno.

Next week I plan to replace my steering shaft seal, per Landcruiserphil's write up. Mine is totally shot.

Just curious...If you replaced your front seat leather already, why are you using seat covers. Seems like you'd want to enjoy them. Isn't that the point, or did you spend all that money so that future generations could enjoy your cruiser? BTW, they look great and I'm very jealous.

Ha! Totally

Ha! Totally valid question. Initially, I'd promised my buddy the seat covers right after I did the fronts. We went skiing that weekend, and as we were loading everything back up in the snow, with the new leather getting pelted, and both of us dirty, we kind of knowingly looked at each other, and he was like "you need to cover these seats". With ski season over, I'm going to take the covers off for a little while...until camping starts up!!

Rear seat is covered as I'm about to install a car seat. First baby due in June!!

EG!!!, found another...

Total cost including chassis weld...removal and install of engine and gearbox..US$1000 approx...which are regarded expensive here....the same tasks and paint job can be done for less than US$500...but not the same quality these guys acheive

I love that color!! Wish my moonglow was that color. Damn moonglow looks like blue/purple sometimes. EGHHH

@scrowley.... its actually from Toyota...guess they use it on the "girly" cars...loool

here is the colour swatch...number 141...was thinking of 923....but the heat here, i needed something lighter without going out of the grey ranch due to more fees for colour change

How's that cooler working far you? I have been eyeballing those things every time I go to Costco.
