Do you mean that you turned the driveshaft around so the spiine section is now at the diff side? What is the theory behind this?
That's what I did. It wasn't my idea and I don't know why it would work. I was telling Bryan I was going to get the Metaltech control arms to adjust my pinion angle. He suggested to try that first. Only thing I can see is now the slip end of the shaft is beside the joint that is straight instead of the side that the joint is bent.

Did he say if there was any downside to this or they did this as standard practice? Do you drive on the street or trailer?

street and trail. I don't know of any downside. I guess the slip joint may get more dirt in it since it is lower now. It's what he did with his 80.

Went riding with a buddy in a 2000 something Grand Cherokee, and another in a 2010 Jeep JK unlimited (four door) on 33s. The Grand Cherokee driver was already having trouble with his 4wd (imagine that - he wrote with heavy sarcasm) before we got on the trail. After a steep hill-climb, his transmission was acting up, so he had to bail. The JK did fine until the very end and then got high-centered trying to follow me (see video).

Well, what I did with my 94 LC was drive it to its new home. Just bought a 94 with 163K. My fourth LC. Started with a 76 FJ40, then 81 FJ60, then a 98 FJ100 (RIP), and now the 94 80 series.

Cheers,

Spring time in Texas... got a chance to take care of the nit noid things:
new TPS and recalibrated.
She got new hood lift struts. (Now I can't reach the hood when open!) Good by old mop handle!
Fixed my sticky rear hatch lever
installed the tailgate lock cylinder (had it for 10 years in a drawer!)
Installed new 6" woofer in the rear behind panel and sealed off the area. I hope I did not seal off too much for the cab exhauster to work properly.

Weeeee!

Catching up ... last weekend, changed all lubricating fluids and realized how many oil leaks I have to chase down. This weekend, installed Warn M12000 in the ARB without removing the bumper. Upcoming, cooling system flush and refresh with new hoses, etc as well as slider install and installing synthetic winchline.

I got a hood prop rod for the LX

Finally fat-matted the front and installed my new Slee Skidplate....

ive had death wobble going on for a few months here and there that has progressively gotten worse. last year I bent my drag link pretty bad and ive been riding around with the one I straightened on a tree then ran over with a dually to make it as straight as possible. this weekend I got around to a proper fix. I used the trailgear kit purchased from low range offroad. its the DOM tie rod and drag link new tie rod ends and steering stabilizer. I also did my second front axle service. I had birf soup in my drivers side knuckle.

THANKS I wondered about that the directions were a little lacking. they also didn't include the bolt to mount to the body side mount so I had to make do with a grade 8 from the parts store with a small washer stack until I can have them send the proper mounting hardware.

Played in rain, in the mud. Folsom Lake, really low water levels this year gives you more room to explore.
