Finally got my 4crawler 1" body lift installed. What a pain in the :censor: . Nothing in particular was difficult just a lot of work. Maybe I'll get my 30mm front spring spacers done next weekend.

Are you doing a writeup on this? I have the dark green paint job as well, and have always liked the white but don't want to sell my truck over color:steer:. Let me know, thanks!

A write up is requested. Looks great!

Took it to the North End Friday:

Grimmjow, the North end is awesome! It was slammed packed memorial day. Nice looking 80. What kind of paint did you use to paint the hood?

Lined my 80 White this weekend

^^^That white liner looks clean! I'm interested to see how the white holds up to sun, dirt, grease, tree sap etc. How did you treat the flare holes - metal tape, or did you weld 'em up?

Went to Browns camp last night(Tillimook Forest, Oregon) and rubbed against one tree and did nothing to it. I used metal tape and bondo over that for fender holes and roof rack holes. I will keep you all posted and will do the write up on it later this evening when the kids are in bed.

First Rotella T6 oil change with NAPA Gold filter and tune up with Man-A-Fre tune up kit with Japanese parts. Seems to be running much smoother. Also installed my CDL switch. Has anyone ever relocated the switch to be on the left side of the steering wheel by the lockers dial?

First Real Trail Damage

Took my 3 little boys out to a place where some guy lets you wheel for free on his 100 acres. He owns an outdoor equipment place (excavators etc.) and he has made some cool spots to play in plus he has some lowlands next to a woods so there are lots of different kinds of terrain to ride on. I did fine for 1.5 hours or so but on our way out we hit 1 more hill because it looked challenging. It had about a 10 degree sideways slope at the top and the hill was about 25 degrees up and turned left at the top between some trees. ALSO, it had been raining for a few days and the ground in that part of the woods had no sand, just dark brown clay/mud. Needless to say my back end was sliding when I got to the trees and I got stuck between 2. Had to bump into one to wedge myself around the corner. It took about 10 minutes of maneuvering and pushing the back end (had a passenger ready to help) to get the boys and I out of the trail. I now have a nice battle scar. Anyway, I am always amazed at this 80...it is a beast! I went through 2' deep mud pits and up sloppy mud hills in the woods without breaking a sweat. Most of the Jeeps that were out there just stared with open mouths as we made up stuff that they didn't even consider because of the bad weather. The best was a 3' step up a 20 degree incline that I walked up carefully. I will be much happier when my winch, winch plate, tow straps, snatch block, d-rings, chains, and compressor get here on Wednesday next week. No more getting stuck on hills!

Poor Hulk now has a nice dent in the back...

I got one about that size in nearly the same place (although mine broke the tail light assembly) and found it fairly easy to pop out from within by removing interior side plastic and pushing through with a pry bar.

Looks like the kiddos had fun though.

The kids did have a blast! I was thinking about doing it from inside. Will check it out later in the week when I have all my goodies to add. Besides...I kind of like scars...

I've done this more than once, :hillbilly:. Now it's time for some liner! It hides a multitude of sins.
