I love how they look and know that heat out the top is more effective than heat out the bottom. Considering the fan blows most of the air up and to the exhaust right side of the engine bay, I was just curious how much of a difference they made.

I've been thinking about these: FJ80 Land Cruiser Heat Extractor Kit - https://trackspecmotorsports.com/products/fj80-land-cruiser-heat-extractor-kit?pr_prod_strat=jac&pr_rec_id=d276f514c&pr_rec_pid=8672302563611&pr_ref_pid=9852480848155&pr_seq=uniform
Check mud classified. Im pretty sure i saw them for sale not too long ago....maybe this:

Also, are the switch blank covers still available? P/n? I have a defective Slee battery indicator I want to ditch and plug the hole.

I can also make a custom one for you

Camping and looking for elk. Did about 60 miles of dirt and ended up going down a gnarly trail to get off the mtn. I should have stopped to get better photos of some of the obstacles but I was dealing with a hangover from hell 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Starting to make some progress on the mechanical side of the '95. Rear axle refurbed with all new Toyota parts and new Toyota brake components for the win.

Ugh, P0401 tonight.
o could never accept just ignoring or deleting so I chased (and 12 months later) solved it. It’s the Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV) under the upper manifold. I had the guys at Tandem Offroad replace when they had it for a few days and it’s been error code free ever since.

Very cool! It's a good feeling to take care of that kind of stuff.

Tandem Offroad are good people! They helped me with a few stuck / rusted bolts when I did my lift.

Started on my new drawer system. Planning on a 2 piece design that is easy to remove and can be removed individually . Left side is gonna be a single drawer that is not full length, leaving space for a secondary battery (Im excited for that project). Right side will be a shorter hight with a shallower full length drawer with a sliding full length top for the fridge.
This is my first time working with extruded aluminum and I got the inspiration from Adv.4x4 on youtube

Again, you and I are twinning. It's starting to get a little weird, tbh. 🤣 I am also designing a drawer system out of 80-20!

Finally heading out to the mountains after hanging out at a friend's house near Denver to sort out some electrical issues. Even got a new fridge from IceCo that they sent under warranty. :p Heading west into the mountains west of Leadville, that's part of the COBDR, then the Grand Mesa area, possibly drop down to do some of the Alpine Loop...then over to the Moab area. Where's everyone going this weekend?
