After two years of ownership I finally got a head unit installed. Was missing when I bought the LC. No more Bluetooth speaker for me.

Has anyone ever cut down a safari snorkel a couple of inches so it doesn’t stick above the roofline so much? I’m just wondering how the top piece would fit if you did that. Mine stays in a really short garage.

Do you have any photos with them on?
I just got them in today. My kids had the land cruiser and not been home.

They fit awesome. Quality is great. I'm definitely ordering a rear one.

Got done with “phase one” of my drawer system. The space in the back is for a second battery that will be coming soon ish.
Of course after everything was assembled and in the truck I realized I mounted the drawer slide mirrored. And after swapping sides, the drawer front dont fit no mo. But that is another days problem.
Brown carpet was a wife’s idea, not sure how I feel about it, still considering just using bedliner.

Also, sometimes we get even better results when we dont plan/measure stuff ahead if time. Look at that fit! 😂

With all the seat covers and bottom pads i purchased through out the yrs...i should've bought them escape gear covers ftom the get go. I spent about the same $ as the cost of escapes
They weren't cheap. But man they fit good.

You didn't ask, but I prefer the carpet to bedliner :)

I

o could never accept just ignoring or deleting so I chased (and 12 months later) solved it. It’s the Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV) under the upper manifold. I had the guys at Tandem Offroad replace when they had it for a few days and it’s been error code free ever since.
Mine as well, the pass through was plugged with carbon as well as the vsv at the manifold which is next in line. Changed it out no issues.
I did run the test kit for awhile and it worked great

Bought a bug radiator screen from MUD member, @mot . Shipped from Japan to my house within 5 days. Waiting on tarrif if any...

Finally finished refurbing the door cards. When I bought the truck the door cards had lumps missing from the top bolster. Apparently her dog just chewed everything it could. Anyway, new foam & vinyl and new carpet material on the lower portion. Plastics freshened up with some SEM Monterey. Also fitted new shallow mount speakers on the front and some nice 4" units in the rears that allow me to keep the original grills. New moisture barriers as well for the win.

Swapped the broken power seats for manual seats. Everything went great, but now 3 of my 4 power windows don’t work. Guess one of the plugs for the seats also runs the windows?

I know yours is a '94 but there shouldn't be any difference between yours and my '95 in this regard. I've looked through my EWD and can't find anything in common between the seats and windows other than they both get power from the 30A fusible link that's on the bottom right below the green 30A fuse in your kick panel fuse block. But if that were blown, none of your windows or locks would work either.

With only the EWD in front of me, I'm kind of at a loss and would need to have the truck in front of me to go any further. If you want a hand, I'm free most any time to come have a look.
