Are those the correct lugnuts for this type of wheel? 😂

View attachment 3967482Installed some WRX seats today. My seats were no longer adjustable, or rarely so, and the drivers seat had to be pretty far back or else it would slide back and forth. These WRX seats provide a lot more support thanks to the big bolsters and I love manually adjusted seats. The bottom also seems to tilt up more which is nice. I like being taco’d up on the steeper trails. Followed a write up on here to get the gist and it wasn’t bad at all, about 3 hours of labor involved and $300!
Super nice

Replaced the starter with one I had in a parts box. Replaced the negative terminal with new crimped ends and block. Fingers crossed while knocking on wood that this fixes my multi-key-turn odd starting issue.

When you get it together check voltage at the key and the excite wire to the starter, had one recently that was only getting 9v back to the starter, somewhere between the under hood fuse block and the key switch it was loosing voltage, (owner put a start relay in to bypass, cheep easy). Something corroded or causing resistance..

Was looking forward to finally do this: proper wash, paint correction and wax 🥰 also tinted the windows

Took forever to restitch (4+ hours), but restitched my steering wheel in perforated alcantara. Thought I ordered full alcantara, but oh well. Let’s see how long this lasts.

TRD colors and stitching add +5 HP easy.

Trying to decide if I need to change my gear oil in the diffs and t case.

Last changed in May of 22 25,000 miles ago.

Whats the consensus?

It’s pretty cheap and easy to do. When in doubt, change it out?

I change the oil in the diffs when the clocks go forward. Any moisture, dirt etc. Picked up over the winter months is more or less gone in time for a summer of driving. Cost is less than a bar bill so makes sense to me.

Clean up complete - and installed a window molle panel for storage options - next job get the rear shelf setup back in when carpets fully dry..
I wasn’t going to do both sides but I think i will now - got a deal on them!

First thing i would do is carefully run a tap for the original thread pitch through the threads and see if you can repair them.

This happened to me and i either fixed it with the original tap or ended up drilling and tapping it one size up. I can't remember.

Okay, you guys talked me into it.

If I remember correctly 2 gallons / 8 quarts should be enough to do the t case with a part time kit and 2 diffs with arb's right?

I think last time I used Lucas synthetic 75w-90 in all 3. That should be fine right?

Thanks

I can't recall how much it takes as I just pour the oil onto a modified garden spayer which makes filling the diffs much quicker. I have used the Supertech gear oil from wally world for years. I don't see the point in over paying for oil when i change it regularly.

wheeling, camping, and fly fishing for my first time.
