Going to do some roof rack swapping. Putting a LC factory rack on the LX470. Moving my home-brew flat rack FROM the LX470 TO the ‘93 LC. So I took the factory rack off of the ‘93.

This was my inexpensive solution to waterproof roof holes.

AC stopped working on the 80 series, and after doing some searching on the forum... I removed the AC amplifier and dissected the circuit board to find evidence of water... After some electronics parts cleaner and toothbrush action the unit was reinstalled and working great again!!! Thanks to this incredible community. Good to go for the summer again!

You mind sharing some links that helped you? When you say stored wiring do you mean completely?

Another Toyota with terrible paint was purchased. Picked up from previous owner who stored it in a garage since 2011. It does drive but the throw out bearing is shot, which is an engine out service on these Alltracs. Going to "baseline" it while it is out with new seals, gaskets, hoses, etc. Already tried to get the purple tint off but it must be original to 1991 because my usual steamer technique didn't work. It's baked on there!

Replaced both front window regulators with motors. Mine were still working but were extremely slow and would occasionally stop altogether. I went with the AISIN from Rock Auto. They definitely work much better now, but I'm not impressed by the speed at which they go up or down. As you can see in the pictures, the driver's side was particularly nasty.

Buddy and I started the cargo/drawer system for my 1997 👍

Drawers will be 500lbs sliders…when finished, it’ll be sanded and stained, and then carpeted; the wheel wells are also being enclosed for additional storage. Drawers are custom with dividers.

Dollar for dollar / Minute for minute, this speedo calibration from Lutz Auto is the best mod for immediate success. Well done!

I got one too, mounted in the same spot, zip tied to fuel lines.
22 clicks up for me with 90% underdrive and 35" tires

Moved the rack over to the 80 from the LX470. Had to measure, drill new holes, get longer bolts, manhandle it into place by myself 😅.
