Took the boys to Carnegie OHV.
Good times on the steps. Ran into @Tonkaboy

I finally got around to replace the throttle cable, I've had it for months. I also took the opportunity to install the hand throttle as well.

It's pretty amazing how much smoother the gas pedal feels now. I didn't realize it would make such a nice difference.

Mounted a light bar on the Bowfin rack - had to notch the front panel a bit to accommodate the width of the bar but otherwise unremarkable install. Now for the scanstrut gland to get the wires through the roof... Anybody have a preferred location (i.e. front of roof, back of roof, etc.)?

Added a dash ornament! ;) A little industrial outdoor Velcro on the wheels holds it tight to the dash mat and is barely noticeable.

Also repainted the wiper arms. One turned out well (pictured). The other looks like :poop: up close (user error, rushing the paint job), so at some point I'll sand and repaint that one. But at least it's protected and won't continue to rust.

That's funny, I just did the same thing.

Installed the 30mm whiteline sway bar. @LandCruiserPhil sway bar end links, and a snorkel to get my LS intake temps down to. A more respectable temp.
End links still need to be fine tuned. Waiting on my coilovers to be finished up at the rebuild shop. Once it’s back on all 4’s I’ll finish the end links.

Installed my Sparco seat.

@Dirt Ferguson

Man, what can I say...I've waited quite enough for this bracket so when it came in, I left work early to start my install
:rofl:

I could've made one at work, but I hate the thought of how inconvenient it'd be to bolt and unbolt my seat several times just to fab something up. Make sure to get yourself some hardware as it's not included; M8 x 1.25 and 16mm long.

Front hole up and rear hole down gives increased caster (more positive) so they went the right direction. That lower one looks like it twisted a bit on the way in, so you won't have quite so much correction. Pressing it back out may destroy it, so you can decide how picky you want to be.
