My guy quoted me 250/350 and it was 250 my wheels where in good shape.

That is cheap for good work.

The guy around here I trust with 25yr old OEM wheels is $625 for five. It’s expensive but I can take them a super gnarley corroded spare and it comes back good.

Your wheels look great btw. 👍

Cheers

Did my antenna today.. looks much better!

What parts where necessary for this? Brand, model would be awesome I need to do this for sure!
I posted it a few days ago. It’s a kit marketed for 3rd Gen 4Runners on AntennaMastsRUs.com.

This was my EK. The parts list was extensive. The only thing that I had not done was an engine swap. I wanted to learn how to drive the car before making it faster.

Finally finished with hospitals, covid, ER visits, and the like. So, went fishing. Came back to the cruiser and found a note.

Added new RainX wiper blades.

Book calls for 18" blades on both sides but I fit 20" on the driver side and 22" on passenger side with no problems. I previously had upgraded to 19" blades on both sides but wanted a bit more clear windshield.

The right outboard side doesn't make contact with the windshield while stopped but does while driving when it has the wind pushing it down. It looks like it's touching in the 2nd pic but I think that's the angle. Neither the wiper nor arm is touching the window gasket.

I suspect these will form to the windshield a bit more as they age, like my 19" RainX ones did. The old ones had a nice curve to them when removed.

Flew into Sydney, brought an 80 and road tripped it home with @AussieHJCruza
Best wood fired pizza we ever had, some rums and beats and life was as good as it gets. I'll start a build thread one of these days.

I love how half the front bars in AUS just look like someone stole a gate from a ranch and welded it to the front. And don't even get me started on that pizza :flipoff2:

I'm very glad we didn't buy the 80 we set out to get😂 this one is much better.

@Indestructible 47 has only told half the story. We went to buy an 80 that allegedly had a slight miss. Saw the cheap aftermarket spark plug wires and thought yep, we know what the problem here is. Arrived and fired up said vehicle and it ran on 4 cylinders if it was lucky. Got an uber to the nearest train station and headed back to the airport.

On the way back, Indestructible found another 80 so we changed trains to go and look at that one and ended up buying it.
