I have mine mounted in the same location. Just the bar though. All the rest is packed away in the back. Cut down on weight. Prevents it from rusting up to. If they rust up they don't function properly. It'll go up but not down. Use some Wing nuts just for ease.

Not to be a negative nancy, but do you have any concerns about that high-lift becoming a missile in the event of a wreck? I like the placement and accessibility but I also wonder about those mounting points shearing off if you were to hit something.
I would imagine that if you hit a tree, or something like that which would deform the bull bar in the middle I could see it shearing the tabs off the bull bar and throw the hi lift through the window. Probably not real likely to happen but I would think a possibility. I would imagine it could also cause some wind noise on the freeway. A much worse spot for a Jack is mounting it to the hood itself. I see that sometimes.
Suspension Saturday is finally here!! Fingers crossed everything goes well! She's sitting pretty low these days with all of the added weight, hopefully this will make a huge difference!
Went with Dobinsons c59-166 up front, c59-167 in the rear with their standard shocks/steering damper. I have about 250-300lbs of weight in the rear with the drawer/sleeping platform and up front I have around 150lbs with dual batteries, winch (steel cable) and steel mounting plate.
Bear is excited...
UPDATE 3/6/21:
Good news is that the lift is on! Bad news is I need to source a knuckle rebuild kit ASAP as there was a decent amount of play in both wheel bearings. The seals are leaking so there is no reason for me to tear into them now just to tighten the axle nuts.
I also need to add extended brake lines, sway bar extensions, and burn in the Eimkeith radius arm mounts that I have in my parts pile. For right now, she might sit a bit until I find that rebuild kit.

After:
I will take some after measurements once it settles a bit, but before it was pretty much 19" hub to fender flare all around. First measurements showed that I gained between 3 1/2-4" all around. CRAZY!!
UPDATE 3/8/21:
Here are my before and after lift numbers after driving for 150 miles or so with weight in the back.
LF - 19"/22.5"
RF - 19.25"/22.5"
LR - 19"/22.75"
RR - 19/22.5"
Killed some unicorn parts I’ve collected and never got around to installing.
Happy to report out I am finally checking major things off my cruiser build to-do list and clearing off the shelves I’ve filled with oem parts still in bags. I have collected so much over 6 years...
I got my tax returns and made a poor finnancial decision.
Than I stopped at the hardware store for some 10.9 bolts for the front bumper now that I have a winch. While I was there I got lucky and scored some .308, deer and elk season are quickly approaching.
I also had an assortment of some high quality ty-raps delivered to replenish my stock.
Next I installed the element fire extinguisher, removed my bumper, gave it a fresh coat of rattle can, and got the new winch bolted up.
Hopefully tomorrow I can install the control box, hook up the wires, install the rope, and start packing for a camping trip next weekend...
Installed a used ibs duel battery system i picked up from a local member. Works great.
Bit figuring out. Put battery behind pass seat, until i get time to build a rear platform. not enough space under the hood.

I grew up in the days when jack stands was the only way to jack you car up. I keep mine painted for that reason. A rusty jack stand is not good equipment maintenance!
