can anyone point me in the right direction of who to get OEM belts from on here? Hoping to take care of them this weekend so I can go out for a drive.

Until it flies out of there during a collision and beheads you!!! 😉😁

Not to worry.... I mounted a Claymore mine between the machete and my head, to make it impossible to strike me. So, I am all protected from it.... Let's face it, in a rollover, everything can kill you.

Nice, post some more pics of the white 80... since y’all will be doing my rig once the Slee heavys get off the boat. I get to see semi preview.

There is a few pics earlier in the thread. It’s not getting much to show off since it is just a massive refresh. No lift, tires, bar work or any of that.

Cheers

What end of the city? Im in Bowness and been trying to get my 8 year old learning how to balance on a board, and got my old arse trying to relearn things I once I knew on a board as well lately. I suspect were gonna have some time to learn some tricks this spring.

Installed
Magnaflow 23120 Downpipe and cat
Magnaflow 23622 Cat
Bosal Muffler 228-241
Bosal Tailpipe 228-243

The magnaflow appears to be good enough quality, Fit fine and I went with all new oem gaskets and hardware all around cause what comes with them are trash.
The Bosal I can tell won't last too long but I hoping since I live in the south I'll get at least 7 years out of it. At 230$ for both bosal parts, that's perfectly worth it to me. Beats the hell out of the leaky OEM and with new rubber hangers everything fit quite nicely.

Looks like you are missing the radiator unless you have replaced it already?

Looks like the stack of parts I started with this winter😄

After I saw your post, I was considering putting my machete in that slot then reconsidered when I thought of a high speed accident. My brother was returning to Austin from one of our mule deer hunting expeditions in West Texas when an oncoming vehicle got its passenger side wheels off the pavement, over-corrected and shot across the yellow line hitting my brother's Tacoma while they were both going 70+ miles per hour. My brother's Tacoma became airborne, sailed over a guard-rail and landed wheels down in a creek bed, then caught on fire (which his friends in the trucks behind him put out). The impact was so great that my brother's tail-lights popped out of the truck bed. The engine was in the driver's compartment. His legs were crushed and it took 6 plates and 57 screws to put him back together. Items in the truck and truck-bed became deadly missiles. The moral of this story is that anything that can become a projectile in a high-speed crash will become one. Might want to find a way to secure the machete. If you think of a nifty (and secure) way to do so, please post it up. The location for it is a good one! I'll be looking for a way to secure it as well.

First off praise the lord... amazing he is still on this side of the dirt.

I love life, but willing to meet my maker anytime, as I know that I have lived life well and not treated anyone unfairly. Not saying I am not a sinner, just never hurt anyone to get something or somewhere in life.

I watched an 80 roll 1.5 times down a hill, with family of 4 inside. it took 6 of us an hour to pick up all the stuff that was thrown from the vehicle -- the rear storage boxes came off the mounts and all the gear was thrown everywhere. Any of which could of caused injury, but no-one was hurt.

My point is that there is inherent risk to going off road. I think that location for the knife is as good as any.... there are 100 other things, including your phone that will kill ya.

Just a few pictures from the carpet replacement project.

That carpet was just gross.

Repainting the console.

I still need to fix the one hole I found in the rear passenger wheel well before I put the new carpet in. Stopped at Home Depot this afternoon to pick up another piece of metal for that and just had to leave after 20 minutes of waiting in line to go in. They were limiting the number of people in there store and it was taking forever. More pics to come as the project progresses.

have a you started a separate thread of the process? I’d be willing to keep up with it haha as much as Id love to drop off my 80 for a full restore, it’s out of the picture for the price. Although, I might end up doing it myself.
