So got around to doing the front oil pump seal, main seal, new radiator and hoses. Guess I was lucky as the crank bolt came off on the first try, not much trouble with the screws on the pump cover, the radiator gave me some grief but all in all it went pretty smooth. Next is the PHH and a couple more coolant lines.

Before I went wheeling I adjusted the kick down cable again. This time I took a good percentage of the slack out but does some play. The LC with the AC has good acceleration and without it is night and day. When I finally get around to putting lockers and 4.88s in it will be a lot better.

The last two weekends the wife and I have gotten out explored Arizona more then we have in the last 3 years. Last weekend we were at Lower Sycamore Creek and we were not comfortable as there were people with side x sides, quads with kids and no helmets, and just a mad frenzy of people going every direction. This weekend we went up the upper half of Sycamore. There were a lot fewer quads, side x sides, and motorcycles.

Didn't get many pictures of us wheeling but we did manage to get pictures of our sleepy Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois.

The cloth is really nice during the AZ summers. The colors don't really open up many options if I was to swap in another set of seats from a different car though.

Thanks for the comment about our dog. She has been a pleasure and a pain in the arse at the same time.

I just finished the rear brakes on my 80 with new Power Stop rotors and pads. I also rebuilt both rear calipers, new e-brake shoes and hardware. I had a set of wheels and tires that suppose to go on my 3rd Gen 4runner but decided to put them on my 80.

Nice!...I’m about to do all of this as well, where did you pick up the hardware for the parking brake and calipers?

Pulled the seats and carpet out to start replacing things. Found a lovely hole in the passenger floorboard. Didn't look too bad at first until I started pulling up the brittle sound deadening stuff and it kept going and going. Also one where the seatbelt for passenger-side back seat mounts. Front one is repaired. Rear one will be repaired tomorrow then it's striping the rest of the old padding, etc from the floor before the dynamat goes down. Gonna repaint all of the plastic trim pieces while it's out of the way. I'll post some pictures once it's all done.

This sounds fun and all
But is this something like rust proofing or was your carpet just shot. Did you know about that passenger floor board hole before jumping in?
I want to do this.

Finished swapping in the new sunroof rails. Now it is watertight and smooth as butter!

Also the passenger seat finally stopped working and is stuck all the way forward. So I removed it to fix the gears and remembered that I should finish pulling the rear heater as the rest of the heater delete is done under the hood. Sealed the hole with some dynamat I had lying around on the top and from underneath. I hope it’s watertight until I can get it welded up!

I purchased all my parts at Rockauto and used 2 sets of Raybestos WK1562, hardware H17394, and Power Stop kit K115636. I usually use the Toyota caliper rebuild kits but Raybestos kit was cheaper and the Power Stop kits have the pin boot kits for the brackets.

Funny was playing with some LED lights that came on my 450 and was thinking of a way to mount them like that, looks like we have the same vehicle.

Attacked the PHH today, or more like it attacked me, got it done but it's a :censor:....well who ever used the word "pesky" was a lot more conservative than me, a few other choice words came out of my mouth that i would've used :)
Installed some Massive Metal Shop hood brackets. Lights from HuddExpo get here tomorrow going to use the NMO bracket for a cb antenna.

Couple things I did from this site, just cut that inner clamp off with a dremel, also used a 1/4" ratchet to get the lower bolt on the metal line off, if you have big hands might be tough or you could try the break off method, ended up leaving it off anyway. Good luck and have fun!;) Mine has 244K and pretty sure it was the original hose, hope it last half as long, don't want to do it again anytime soon, he,he.
