I started my weekend out, by dumping some Prestone Flush Cleaner in the radiator. Then I finally went to the BMV yesterday to do a title transfer, and get a plate for "Mad Dog." Then I went down to the local Toyota dealership and got a full synthetic oil change for$70, and found out I have a gasket leak on my main oil pan.

Then about 15 mins ago, I removed this. The PO, had this secured up on the ceiling witha drywall screw. Nothing like go 70mph down the interstate and out of nowhere getting conked on the head with a floppy sunvisor b/c the screw gave out.

Made some extensions fore the bump stops that go in the rear coils.

Quite the weekend, primed and painted my trail tailor skid plate with blitz black rattle can before the install, fixed my FMS with some parts from a local hardware store (went with a hollow threaded tube for a bit cleaner install and some light grinding with the dremel) and lastly took off the running boards. What a difference in look.

In an attempt to fix the terrible shudder under acceleration and CEL code 26 took the '94 down to the injectors for service and an EGR delete (just because) 5/6 injectors wouldn't stop leaking so 6 new ones purchased + 6 new connectors + 1 broken injector terminal

My dad and I put it all back together with ghetto blank plates to get it out of the garage and she is much smoother on acceleration but still throwing code under hard acceleration and a still present shudder... getting there I hope.

Still lots ahead to hopefully get it fixed!

True! Now we just need them to open URE back up!
Seems like its not gonna open till May, Looks like im going to Windrock to go wheeling lol

Replaced my MetalTech sliders with some more family friendly Slee SliderSteps. I highly recommend either of these, the MTs are BEEFY and have held up great for years but the Slee’s make it just that much easier for the family & dogs to get in and out of the cruiser.

Replaced a radiator Thursday ( basically took the whole truck apart.) Then water pump failed so I spent the last few days slowly taking the front of my engine apart. luckily no broken bolts or studs. I am worried as to why the pump failed. Its like it had too much pressure. It was basically poring coolant out the weep hole. The radiator cap is new and the overflow line is unclogged. Only thing I can think is that it had a bad air bubble that steamed off or something. Waterpump and thermostat housing gaskets were nasty.

Hmm, wonder if there is some sort of blockage? Run a hose through it and then some coolant cleaner additive id say. with a garden hose on it once the coolant is out you can basically just continue running a hose through it and let it dump for a while, but I like the idea of adding once of those coolant system cleaner products and then letting it sit for a while to break up any crap, though im not sure how good it actually works but cant hurt.

Not uncommon to install a new radiator cap, then other places start to leak because it has all reached an "equilibrium". The new cap increases the pressure slightly (make sure it's the right one and fits properly!) and next thing you know, you're replacing the water pump because the seals finally blow out, then every old hose starts leaking. If you have it down, replace all your heater lines as well if you can. Do it once, do it right.
