A quick tug from the Lexus and I was free. Then all day I had to hear about how much better Lexus's are.
If it makes you feel better, I buried the LX today in some alluvial slurry of boulders, logs, and mud. Self recovery though. A nearby stream for cleanup and all was well.

Are you channeling Beno with the river sandals?

LX450's ARE better...lol...I know, I own one ;) ;)

Eh, who needs a lexus when you can get a 1990 VX with power folding mirrors, auto climate, headlight washers, and a center console fridge?

saw this in front of my office Friday. RHD and smelled of oil, probably diesel. Interesting that this was imported to the states. I think it's a sign, just not sure of what. I don't think I've seen the color before either.

color seems familiar. Pretty sure that’s a member here. Has build thread documenting the restoration.

Broke in my gears, replaced ps pump AGAIN and mounted my console. Old sway bar bolts worked out perfect in the factory mount with a 1” thick piece of square tube. Drilled the cup holder for the third bolt hole(also factory) and mated the cup holder to the console. Took about an hour to do. Much more comfortable. Id love the back legs bolted down, but im leaving it for now.

Oh, and the color looks hideous in my truck. Gonna have to go to powdercoat and reupholster the cusion. Sucks. At least it was 170 bucks.

For the first time ever my stock temp gauge went about a needles width above where it usually sits. I was facing into the sun (105° today) with the AC on in a drive through. I guessed it could use a bit more airflow so I put it in neutral and it seemed to go down again. Pretty normal right? Ive never seen the gauge move before after getting to the center. Even towing a 5500lb trailer up a mtn pass at 4k RPM hasn't done that.

GTurbo Grunter Extreme install, all new OEM gaskets, studs, and hardware used. I had some good help to keep me hydrated and cool, lol.

Shot this one Saturday at the County 4H fair. My daughter had equestrian events and we had the camper there. It was seriously out of place to see 3 toyotas parked together. I'm pretty much a loner in my town with my Toyotas, especially Cruisers!

I got to watch a little antique pulling. Love the inline 6 sound of the Olivers but the 2 lung Deere is tough to beat!

Those seats look very nice, consider me jealous. My leather seats are in good condition still but I don't think they're very comfortable.
