You do realize that in two years your truck will run slower with Apple? There's a class action lawsuit about how they engineered the OS to run slower. So when you can't make it to 60 mph in a reasonable time, you'll know why.
You won’t regret it. Im enjoying the 80, it’s growing on me.Just thinking about giving up all the modified trucks and just going stock 200.
I feel like I remember someone saying (maybe on here) that the G wagons share the same axles or some drivetrain portion as our 80s...
All the built up 200 I've seen look good.
But the design itself it's so damn out of place in stock form. Fat pig for sure. It does not fit on the trail and it does not fit in at mall parking lot.
80 managed to strike a really nice balance with everything.
Well... except for cupholders.
There's one good slot for my beer. That's all I need.
Where do you get square beer cans from?
Sorry but this is just a marketing gimmick. The water fording depth approved by MB is 60cm. Which is the top edge of the doorsill.

It isn't even as good as the "Not a Beast" 200 series.

But it really doesn’t compare to the 200. I’m at 215,000 miles on mine and it doesn’t make any squeaks or rattles. The power and comfort are amazing. You’ll feel Boss in it. It’s funny but there is a real attitude in the 80’s series forum about what they are and who you are if you drive them. Complete ignorance is all I can come up with... hahaha
It’s a LC guys, the pinnacle of what Toyota builds.
So if a Sequoia and 200 were in front of you, you'd hop in the Sequoia. Got it.It’s the pinnacle of what Toyota builds, today. I look at it the same way I look at 100s. They are great for what they are. But make no mistake, they aren’t a Land Cruiser anymore.
May as well buy a Sequoia...

I never mentioned $$With the $40k extra I’d buy a used 70 Series that was meant to go off road.
I don’t live in a world where money is not a thought in any decision, implied or not. Was just faced with this predicament and now have a Sequoia in the stable next to the 80.I never mentioned $$

If money isn’t an issue then we wouldn’t be having an either/or discussion. I’d take one of everything.
The reality is that while the 200 May be a superior piece of equipment than the Sequoia there is no chance I’d pay the nearly 100% markup.
