Broke this. Need a real steel vise.

I have that exact Chinese vise and have wondered when it will let go. Ige had the same one and it broke years ago same spot, I remember her posting it here. Was it a shock load or just tightening up?

Want me a Wilton Bullet!

Over the last few weekends I've done
-New exhaust, 2.5" bat back with Thrush muffler
-Trail gear rear bumper
-VC120 charcoal canister (I had CRAZY high tank pressure)
-Drawers/sleeping platform
-Routed power to the back and put in a mini-fridge
-EGR delete

This weekend i'll do the fuel filter and thenI'm out of stuff to work on!

Picked up a 1997 LX450 this past sunday. Needs some little things but it should be a nice daily driver/light off roader once I am done.

Well post some pics!

Is the muffler a large oem style or a smaller unit designed for better flow? Generic or fit specific. Part number? How would you describe the noise quality and level inside and outside the cab.

Can always spot a newb. Especially when they say "then I'm out of stuff to work on"...

lol I know, I've said that before

Regarding the Muffler, its a universal high flow one - Thrush Welded model. Sounds a little deeper, not too loud or annoying.

Is it the 17717? I listened to a youtube video of that one on an fzj80. It's not as annoying as some. The inline 6 just doesn't make the sweet exhaust note that a V8 does.

I will but it needs to be washed and have some minor things done.

Yeah, only clean, polished, completely perfect rigs are allowed here!

Here is my "less sh!tty than when I got it" 93...

17656, not annoying at all. I still have my cats btw.

Agreed. I took my 92 back to stock form about 18-19 years ago after having a 4" lift on it. I love a stock 80. With my 93 I have a 2" lift on it and think that is the max I would ever go again. It just looks "right" to me.
Everyone has an opinion but mine is that 80s look best with a 3-4" lift and 35s. It's just absolute perfection.

2" inch lift and 33s is for 100s :flipoff2:

Except, you meant to say "3"-4" and 37's.........."

Looks good! I can send you the link to the LED bar that fits perfect in the gap and I can hook you up on a COMEUP winch when you're ready as well.

Thanks again for the order,

Jason
you tested out a come up 24volt yet?/
