Asked my dad to help me bleed the brakes manually. This is the help I get. Guess we should've waited to eat until after we were done

3FE starter is out in the open and a piece of cake. The 1FZ *should* take about an hour ;)
Diesels are the same. Just need suitable extensions and uni joint for your socket. 2 bolts, 2 wires, 20min tops ;)

Finally fired up the 80 after two months sitting in the garage. Took it up to the north shore to hang out with some sea turtles on the beach and watch the sun go down.
The white 80 looking good next to some turquoise siding.

The beautiful panoramic view of the Wai'anae Mountains across Waialua Bay on a perfect evening.

This old guy was almost as big as me!

I am also surprised at how well the OEM carpet cleans up. Simple Green and Woolite.

I get the same amount of help from my wife most of the time. Thankfully, I have two sons, and two daughters. (the girls are actually far more helpful than the boys).

It must be cold in HI or you censored this post...

Finally got my moldy front seats replaced with Corbeau Baja XRS suspension seats. Much more comfortable than the factory seats

Now I need to get the leather on the doors arm rests replaced, along with the center console lid, shifter, and steering wheel. The seats alone made it look 1000x nicer inside.
Nice! I'd love to hear more as you get time in them. I've been looking at those very seats for my truck for a while now.

I have really enjoyed browsing this section of the forum since getting my 80 series a year ago. Finally have a weekend worth posting about.

Took a trip with my dog Hugo to Punta San Jose, baja norte south of ensenada. Beautiful desolate location with great waves, weather and tequila.

Will do. The ones I sat in at a local off road shop were even more comfortable than mine so I'm looking forward to breaking them in and getting better.

I'm gone from this section for nearly 2 months, and my first post being back I get blasted for my fashion sense....was it because it's a Tommy Bahama parka?
