Got her back together. I like the amber lights, glad I swapped back. Also, the bronze wheels just weren't doing it for me so I went back to grey plus no center caps. Liking it better.

Also, took it to Grand Rapids and made a deal on a GX470. Gonna be my oldest daughter's new ride. Time for some "120 series Toyotas" tech.
you have air to air intercooler? I am asking due to the scoop looks tight man

Got home from work to this waiting for me. Already had one med kit that I moved between my 92&93 depending on which I was driving. Didn't make sense to not have one sense my wife has been driving the 92.

I ordered this and smaller pouch style kits (they actually called them "tactical med kits" but I refuse that terminology). They are easier to access.

I ordered these after stopping to help a cyclist that got hit by a car. In somewhat of an emergency the smaller pouch would've been quicker to grab. They will be stocked with emergency supplies such as gauze, alcohol, and blood clotting agent.

AMP3 OUTFITTERS MAKE A TOTAL f.a ROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO IFAKS. LOOKS SIMILAR

Finally got my moldy front seats replaced with Corbeau Baja XRS suspension seats. Much more comfortable than the factory seats

Now I need to get the leather on the doors arm rests replaced, along with the center console lid, shifter, and steering wheel. The seats alone made it look 1000x nicer inside.
nice, how bad of a hit was it on the wallet?/

$720 for the seats and $225 for the brackets.

The seats are from THMotorsports where I got free shipping and no tax. If you add them to your cart and leave them for a day or so they send you a code for 3% off which brought down the price by $22.
The brackets were from Poly Performance. They have the double locking slider option mentioned in the description but no option to buy them. Had to call and the guy put the order together for me. Free shipping and no tax as well. Oh and if you mention you're a Pirate4x4 forum member you get 10% off.

I do. It sits under a Subi hood scoop. I put inlet and outlet probes on It for some data. It pulls out 10° sitting and idling on a hot day, 15° at about any cruising speed, and 20° under boost. I have never seen it rise above the intake air temp from heat soak.

View attachment 1506972 View attachment 1506971 View attachment 1506971 Well as per my usual summer frolic I'm at the beach again! I like this spot because you need a permit and the access is limited to mefore 7 AM or after 5. With my RTT I cancome late and sleep over as much as I want.

About to fire up the grill. Oh boy.

I know that spot. I would have been there too, but since they changed the permit deadline to a month earlier under my nose I missed it (!). Will be picking one up after Labor Day. Glad you got out there

Thanks! Doesn't often look that good. It is pretty dirty now from the last wheeling trip. I try to remember the purpose of the 80 is to use it and put it to the test.

Water down the scoop is one way to clean it! They guy in the Dodge cleaned his cylinders with water in that video. Go snorkle.

Just got back from Ouray, spent a week climbing 14ers.
  1. I am now one of the elite who blew the studs on my right knuckle at nearly 13k feet. It took 3.5 hrs to put it back together in the rain. Good times.
  2. Managed to melt my meth injection hose, then needed to drive the rig back across Bonneville. It made it, but ran temps to 225 with no AC. Good times.
  3. Then the auto tensioner arm failed on my SC, bringing the pulley into contact with water pump pulley. Came close to more good times. Now can't find a replacement for the auto tensioner...
But the truck got us back home safe and sound!

Info on the shop and price please. I've a spare wheel just for this purpose.
