Started my hybrid cage this weekend. Roof halo is one continuous piece, 7 bends to follow the rain gutter. Not looking forward to drilling all of the holes in the roof to punch the cage through.

Teaser pics.

7? Os there one up front at the brow? Or top edge of windshield? Looks good and way safer on that side of the sheetmetal.

Front has approximately 15 degrees in it at the brow. It's bent behind the first and again behind the second crossbars.

Trying to keep it as tight to the body as I can without being overly complex. It's actually lower overall than the factory roof rack so far.

Saturday was spent as a vendor at the UTOR (Utah Toyota Off Road) Expo hosted by Tony Divino Toyota in Riverdale Utah. This is the second year of the event and it is growing fast. This year was probably double the size of last year in number of attendees as well as number of vendors. Its attended heavily by Tacoma, FJ Cruiser owners but there is a good variety of rigs from the entire Toyota 4wd menu. Since I was a Tepui vendor I was busy doing vendor stuff and didn't get more than 10' away from my truck the entire time so I didn't see much else.

Getting some gas on the way to the Expo.

all set up and ready for people to show up.

I donated a full set of Tepui Expedition Gear Bags to the raffle and my son came with his minitruck for the afternoon to give me a hand.

Nice shot from someone else of the cruiser at some point during the day.

The rest of these photos are not mine but should give a feel for the event. It's worth checking out if you're in northern Utah mid April next year.

That mint green 45 makes me feel kinda funny!

You out on that long island or the little round funny lookin one?

This is actually the first time I've been out there when the point past the jetty was actually open. Surf sucked as usual.

Yeah I'm not sure what to do with these yet. Not 100% I'll do other colors and not 100% if I'll bother with stock length. :meh:

Only four people will want them so I'm not gonna put a huge amount of effort into them :flipoff2:
Interested in oak. After dual amp install may need extended or regular, plus one for foot pad for driver side.

Really cool event!
How much such a Tepui tent costs?

Threw 3 1/2 gallons of go juice in the tank (go support juice really).
