Awesome progress.

Where in the Black Hills are you?

Rapid City, I'll pm you my contact info. We have a club run/camping trip the weekend around may 19th. Going to camp at box elder forks out Nemo road and run Iceman on that Sat. Come out and join us!

I have the Milwaukee grinder at the powder coat shop, and it is very good. I have a Rigid set at home and they had a deal on 4.0 ah batteries and the grinder so I went for it. Both are brushless motors and are really good. If I was buying without already having some tools, I'd go Milwaukee but they really seem to be equals so far.

Nice. I have a few M18 Fuel items now and just picked up a couple M12 Fuel items as well. Very good performance from them so far. And yeah, brushless is the way to go.

Not the weekend, but last night I went out to bleed my power steering again as I installed the derale cooler on Sunday. Opened the rear to get the extra atf I had and noticed quite a bit of water on the floor. Great, a new leak. At least it appears to be new since I haven't seen any water aside from the jack area before. I was able to see that my sliding window tracks are what leak. Pictures I took are weak so I'm not going to post them.

Finalizing my distributorship with TGT/OA in Australia.

J - does this partnership mean an end to your custom bumpers or will you just scale them back?

That front bumper was one of the inspirations for my front bumper idea kicking around in my head. There is another australian bumper that looks very similar. Between the two of those, I've got a pretty good plan. Depending on pricing, I might just buy one instead :hillbilly:

I was dropping my daughter off at school this morning and a friend came running over (she's a cute blonde so it was a nice change of pace). She said "You're the only one I know who will understand!!" She was smiling so I wasn't *too* concerned. She said "In the next 100 miles, I will roll over 200,000 miles!!!"

So we walked over to her bone stock '97 and admired it for a while, talking about how fantastic 80s are.

Is she married? You need to introduce her to Mud! Maybe @Aloha Jen and her can be friends!

Took off running boards to replace soon. Center nut inside of driver side center broke. Any ideas on fix. Nursert? Anyone have this happen, if so what was your remedy? Would leave them off and get mud flaps but do not like the way passenger side exhaust looks. Thanks.

I had the one on the DS break loose and just spin inside. I had to use a sawzall to cut off the bolt to remove the boards. The PO had wrecked the truck on that side at some point, and the body shop cobble-welded bolts behind bolts to attach the RB.

I made the decision then and there that I would remove the RB's and if I needed more, I would buy/build step sliders. Occassionally, you can find mudflaps from non-RB trucks.

That's what mine did, spin, but I put pressure on it and it grabbed and came out. But nut fell inside magnet fishes it out. I need the running boards for vertically challenged family members. Might be ok without since most force is downward! Thanks for the info!
