Getting ready for our Xmas trip to Mt Shasta and doing a practice run of putting the chains on... Not even trying to adjust them, just wanted to put them on to make sure I got the instructions right LOL!
Who makes those? I need to order some but haven't found any good sources for 315s. Thanks in advance.

Trying to find out why she won't shift correctly and why she takes 4 days to reach 60mph.

Hey, it's been raining here a lot...have you looked at your NSS barrel connector? Dielectric grease stuffed into mine did the trick. Mine did the same thing after the rains in the fall of '15 but it took me 9 months to find the culprit.

Mounted and wired my under hood light.

Ended up with a 24" bar from Superbright LEDs, and ran the conduit behind the hood insulation. Wired it to a switch which is part of my Accessory panel under the hood, with a separate waterproof switch from Cole Hersee. Thus it can only possibly be on in the ACC or On position with the key, and if the switch itself is toggled. Brighter than can be. Thanks out to @NLXTACY for some inspiration on this one.

No other lights on, just the under hood light itself.

You can see the switch and panel in the lower-center of the picture.

Went out for another drive this afternoon, really digging the new gears and how much of a tank this thing is in the snow.

...
What gears did you go with?

Moved the ScanGauge to the 100 now that it can get trans temp. Installed an Ultragauge in the 80 for needed info Scangauge was not able to provide. Both are great gauges depending on your needs.

I have the Scangauge II in my 80. What extra does the Ultragauge give that the sgII doesn't?

Drove through this weekend's Colorado-wide storm, up Wolf Creek Pass to ski-tour through the forest. First time on serious snow and ice on my new KO2s, and they were great. Accelerating up the pass in a few unplowed inches around other 4x4s was a blast.

After a month of sitting on my driveway, I finally drove her and went to visit my uncle's barn... and his kids were there as well!

IMG_8025.JPG

Then we drove to a nearby junkyard, hoping to find a hood strut, to my surprise I saw a '93 sitting with no tires... then $500 later we brought her home.

There was milkshake in her...
IMG_8026.JPG

Over all she was clean. But the st*pid guy at the yard put a 15" wheels upfront and T100 wheels at the back. The calipers upfront were grinding...

Then on the way home this happened... not the "D" light.... i'm catching up with some of you folks... I may have hit 200k at some point already for having been on 35's / 4.88's with an uncalibrated tacho...

I have the Ultragauge in my 80 and I chose it over the scangauge because I prefer the larger display. Much easier to read at a glance.
This pic is a little deceiving. It doesn't block any of the factory gauges in this location.
