It's funny that after years of driving an 80 I always have to reset after every fill up. As if one day, I will be like "oh s***, I just got another 100 miles out of the tank!" Don't really know why I do it anymore, became a habit I guess.

Just wrapped up doing some PM. New VC gasket, plug seals TB gasket. Have a few more things now added to the list that I noticed after digging around under the hood. Mainly vac hoses and some small coolant return hoses etc. All in all not a bad job, took my time and the reading on here helped a ton.

All new AC system for my93.
Back from the Bighorns. The 1fzfe sucked the 91 octane but never let me down. The highest temps I saw fully loaded down was 224 going up Hwy 14 out of Dayton Wy. The 12 valve sitting behind the garage will be nice towing and climbing but I might miss the worry free tractor motor.

Actually, I have a 42 gallon capacity so even though I haven't tried it yet, if I can manage 14.285 miles/gallon, I'd make 600 miles

I picked up my sleeping platform frame today and am going to start on the plywood top later. Hopefully my friend can help me with building the pull out drawer next weekend.
Will do, was on pretty tight to begin with.
Finally got around to replacing some small hoses under the hood. The 2 for the PCV were no longer pliable like rubber should be, rather they were hard like plastic. Replaced with bulk fuel hose and new clamps. New PCV valve and grommet as well.
New spark plugs, (waiting on wires from service tech friend of mine).
Removed the front D/S to test if my front diff is indeed shot, along with draining the diff to see how bad the fluid is (bad). I installed the CDL switch some time back so at least that was ready.
Drove around the neighborhood to hear how bad the diff sounds, (guess what, bad) and then backed it into the garage to make it easier to remove the diff. Which will still be a challenge since the garage is small.
In the coming weeks, new belts, VC and spark plug tube gaskets (oil seepage onto threads of plugs), finish replacing hoses, along with all new vacuum lines. Oh and new PS lines and maybe pump, the return line is cracked and leaks a little. Threw a new clamp on and it's helping but needs overall replacement. Oh and new intake tube, this one is also hard like plastic and already cracked. The PO wrapped the cracked bit in tape. It's OK for now.

Two turbo yotas in their natural environment:
Didn't put any dents in the truck, but I put a few in myself (I call this the dirt beard):
On the way back out of the woods dove by another campsite that was left deserted with trash EVERYWHERE. Had to pull over and clean up somebody's mess for them. These ***cing out of towners are coming here, starting forest fires and trashing the place.

Just finished pulling the rear axles and hubs. They were very loose and had Timken bearings from the PO. They had a lot of oil in them from bad inner seals too.
Tomorrow I'm going to sandblast and powder coat the axle ends and the hubs. My new Koyo bearings should show up and I have new Toyota seals and gaskets. Also getting two new Spider Trax spacers.
