Removed the front sway bar on my second 80, mostly useless after the accident. Tried to find short on headlights, no luck...

I really liked my last 80 with just an Aussie in the rear. Worked well and never even knew it was there unless I heard it ratchet on tight cornering on pavement. In the dirt/rocks it locked up great and worked like you would hope. Good setup.I know, I think I see a future with 4.88's and a rear Aussie down the road.
I also need to really start considering and researching shocks as well. The OME shocks were great when new, but much to be desired after only a couple years.

2 thumbs up for aussie! Also don't forget the aussie simply works without wires, air hose, valve, switches.......you get the point, it just works!
I know someone who's fancy air front locker doesn't work because the compressor crapped out, you sure don't want that to happen on a difficult trail. Aussie(or other good auto lockers) will get you home every time without fail.
This wouldn't be the guy who's been texting about Harrop part numbers would it? That would solve the compressor issues and really no better option in my book for a front selectable.
you guys might as well put my address on this post too! Yes it is me!....geez.....
Learn from my mistakes mudders, air lockers suck!
Australian s*** sucks! ....buy American!
Man that is clean.
Is that a stock ground location to the exhaust manifold heat shield? I do not have that.
Try the green trails then when that feels good go to the blue market trails. Stay away from the black diamonds & you will be fine. Go soon before it gets to hot.I'm a bit new to off roading and live relatively close to Hollister. I've wanted to take my rig down there. Any pointers for a beginner with only 1.5" spacers as the lift?
Fitted a custom built sequential ecu as piggy back, with hand controller for monitoring vitals on screen, and changing maps for fuel grades and LPG, along with a higher stall torque convertor we do for these. Swapped out the viscous tc for a 2wd/4wd converted normal version too.
Maxxed out the injectors with 550 ft lb @ wheels now, and the Walbro dropping 5 psi at max rpm so both of those will need upgrading to finish tune now.
After I fix the broken sprag clutch in the back of the auto while road testing it yesterday

Just got back from a 1k roadtrip from Long Island to Acadia in Maine, what a wonderful place.
