Not all lifts will work with our Cruisers, and for the ones that do, you must carefully center them. I've also found it works best to have the front arms at ~90° so they will reach the frame just in front of the crossmember. Then the rear arm can hit the frame in front of the rear LCA brackets.

Finally got some snow today so the wife and I got out for a ride. Supposed to get 7 to 8 inches this weekend and the mountains are supposed to get 16 to 20 inches.....................road trip!

Love that 93, not sure what it is about that color but I like it. Any pics of you painting the grill? Flat black and just masked off the letters?
Sweet rig!

I installed the same head unit on Christmas. FM/AM quit putting out sound but all other options put out sound as normal. Called Kenwood and they had me do a restart of the unit. Just FYI here's how:
The little upside-down red triangle that is the power light you use a pen and press it in and release it. Fixed me right up! I like mine as well.

Love the new paint on the '93!

Nice product placement with the Lowe's bucket. Keep spending your money at Lowe's. I like my paychecks!
Lowes used to get a lot of my major purchases, until they decided to not allow the local grocery store chain to sell their gift cards. Like many areas grocery store chains give fuel discounts for gift card purchases. Now it's to Home Depot for bigger purchases.

Meh. Can't please everyone.

Side note: The amount of fraud from gift cards is ridiculous. I would not be surprised to see major changes in how the industry handles gift cards in the future. You can't imagine.

Gift cards ARE fraud. Something like over 70% of all gift cards are never redeemed. So, basically you're donating money to a large corporation on the gift recipients behalf....

Edited to add: No one I've found lists the % of unused cards, but gift cards are incredibly stacked on behalf of the merchant. Not a fan, personally.

At least they did away with expiry dates on gift cards recently (in Canada anyways). THAT was shady.

Well yeah I believe they are stacked in favor of the merchant, but I also believe much of it is due to the typical American. The typical American being lazy and forgetful. I only buy gift cards for large purchases and I use them immediately. They don't cost me any extra money and it only means making one extra stop at the grocery store. I do not contribute to that 70% statistic, all of my gift cards are used and I track them completely. On the other end of things....I almost never give them as gifts.

I use Home Depot cards for my work to get fuel perks from local gas station. I can say I can't remember last time I had to pay for gas. I'm sitting on 120 gallons for free right now. People always amazed when I tell them about it like its a secret they didn't know about. Oh well more free gas for me, and with owning an 80 free gas is always needed. ;)

Yeah the $1.58/gallon is killing me! :flipoff2:

I know several people who are able to do exactly that. I'm just not in a position that I need to buy that much from Home Depot. The ones I know that are able to do that are involved in the contractor business.

Went exploring at the Anza-Borrego desert

One of the many metal art pieces. This one goes from one side of the highway to the other.

Sunset at shell reef in Ocotillo. Crazy to see a mountain of sea shells in the middle of the desert.

Finally got around to fitting my OEM tranny cooler in place, had to relocate one of my horns to make room. Plan is to do a Rodney flush through the used cooler, then hook up the lines so it's in the system, probably get to this next week. Weird that HDJ81's don't have trans coolers from factory, but at least the NA one fits like it was meant to.

Also dealt with cleanup of a small mess from some Power Service Diesel Additive that spilled when the bottle fell over last week. That stuff is NASTY! Wasn't bad if the truck was cold, but if it warmed up inside the smell was terrible, and it burned my eyes!
