Just picked up my VC120 vapor canister. It only has two line ports. One says "tank" the other says "purge". The old OEM canister had three. Two on top, one on bottom.
So what do I do?

Charcoal Canister - Great Option!
As to my weekend, new battery terminals, new Starter. Damn that was almost as awkward as my PHH.
This is on my short list of projects for my ute. Where did you source these? Are you doing the fancy headlights with projectors in them?

The new charcoal canister seems cheap. Like Chevy cheap. I'm going to put it I. But I know I've read where someone has opened up their OEM one and replaced the charcoal.
I'll set the OEM one on the shelf and say I'm going to open it up and replace the charcoal. Then 10 years from now I'll finally toss it in the garbage.

Nothing fun. Ran some errands. Some people think BBQ season is over. Had to go to "the hood" to get some charcoal for next week...
Some bearing somewhere is making noise. My choice is, two idler pulleys, a water pump, a/c compressor, alternator.
Been that way for three years.
Decided not to worry. Week long road trip to Mexico after New Years. Not stressed at all.

Finally replaced my shocks that have been sitting in boxes for over a year - some cheap Doetsch Techs for now as I didn't have the extra to spend on OME L's at the time. I've got 255k on the clock and it still had factory rears on it! Rides a little better

I tossed mine. The replacement is cheap enough that even if you have to replace it every three years or whatever, you're good.
Replaced distributor oring and now for the moment I am completely leak free.
Looks good, the only thing I can maybe say is that the front mount being angled is probably because the rack should be slid up so that the mount angle matched the sloping rain gutter?
Loaded her up with some friends of ours and drove a little over 200 miles to do the Hike-Inn.com . Got 13 mpg which i thought was pretty good, also checked out a couple state parks we might visit later to camp.
