What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (58 Viewers)

Do you have the stock speakers? What I did was clip the pigtails off of the stock speakers and solder them onto the constacts of the replacement speakers. Plug and play as Mr. T had meant it to be.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to headlights, not actual audio speakers.

Successfuly changed my timing belt, camshaft seal, head cover seal, both v-belts and the water pump. Hooray!

Also successfuly punched a hole in my radiator trying to put the new pump in. And the rad was brand new. Even bigger hooray!

Hint to myself: those fxxxers are pretty fragile. Well, now I know. So today I have to take it out and let some helpful soul weld it up.

Hint for next time - always cut a piece of cardboard to place in front of radiator when working on anything on the front of an engine.

Quick weekend trip out to Anza Borrego. Did the tourist thing this time around and toured all 120+ of the metal sculptures out there. In all the visits out there, I'd seen a couple of them from the road, but never stopped and explored any of them. Just beautiful work!

From where we were at Desert Rendezvous at Split Mountain it's a small trek to get over to Borrego Springs where these all are. Next time when you get over here! They are all just off the roads, so no wheeling needed to see them all. We had a newbie with us this past weekend so didn't want to scare her!

Do you have a link to the eBay as or part numbers? What type of bulb is it? Is it plug and play?
