You all are crazy!

I love Blackstone, but if my dentist told me I could still go a year without brushing and probably not get a cavity, I am not trying it.

3,000 mile club, loud and proud.

It was killing me!!!!

More cup holders!

I forget who posted that HF find...

3,000! No way! Not with synthetics.... 5-7,000 IMHO

I don't believe in either of those voodoo works. :flipoff2:

ok, note to self it has been way to long. change oil now.... soon..... maybe next month.
I'm on a once a year whether it needs or not interval.

I'll do my first blackstone test at the next interval.

OK, one, maybe two years. But about 5000k intervals. We're down to two vehicles from four. So we're driving the 80 more now, which is fine with me.

:grinpimp:

Better analogy would be dental check up. If my dentist said, "you are taking such great care of your teeth go ahead and skip the 6 month check up". Then yeah, guess what? I aint going to that stupid check up because fawk dentists...sadists all of them.

Yep even with synthetics. Mobil 1 0w-40. Changed my GT-R every 25-2800, as it was on E85.
Phssst, not like you even know your way around a header or anything. Whatever. I bought my 80 so I don't have to change the oil :flipoff2:

Well I guess I should throw in that an oil cooled turbo does create more heat in the oil, but with the oil and water cooled turbo you don't have the oil cooking problems. I guess old habits, but I still could not go 12k miles no matter who told me it was ok. lol.

I adjusted the steering play in the gearbox. Last weekend's 600 miles was annoying.

1000+ roadtrip coming up after Xmas. And I don't want to be all over the road driving up to Tahoe.

Ski season bitches!

:bounce:

I think I need to do the same thing.

How's the snow up at Tahoe? Any luck this year?

Replaced a shredded ujoint in the rear driveshaft that was causing death wobbles. Big thanks to Cruiser Outfitters for the great customer service

Promising. Resorts are opening up this weekend. Only a few feet though so far.

Last Winter we didn't go since there was no snow. I had a bad experience the year before with no snow, only mad made which totally sucked. It was actually ice. I think we hit the slopes only 2 half days.
Just trying to figure out where to go this year. I'm thinking Brian Head UT, since it's the same driving distance for us and there should more snow there than in CA.

Been working on this for a few weeks, but finished painting my 91 LC this past weekend in Monstaliner Desert Tan. Bought the truck a few years back, but just now getting around to fixing it up. It was wrecked, so replaced the passenger apron and radiator support with parts I got from Jason at CruiserYard (excellent guy). Radiator had a leak, so replaced it while it was stripped down. Removed fender flairs and had holes welded.

It’s painted, but still have some reassembly to do. New wheels and tires are next. I’ll post a pic when it’s done.
