Thanks, and I actually was headed that way and guess what happened? You initiate a "conversation" with a significant other in a confined space, things happen!...I got stuck in Solvang....spent the night and then our surf and turf turned into a trip to santa barbara mission!....I still don't know what I was thinking! Maybe I should just travel alone from now on!
Hmm...o_O I don't know you well enough to say what I want to say.
Maybe @NLXTACY will pipe in...
Edited later...
Maybe I will say it... sounds like love to me.

Did you just call Sashimi your "significant other"?!?!?

Holy crap it is serious!

Cup holders are the harbinger of doom; the sign of how our effete nature will cause the overthrow of our civilization.

Toyota engineers were right to exclude them from the Series 80.
No drinking but smoking can be done in all three rows.

There is a lot to brag about in Texas!

I know how you guys hate Texas braggarts so I can't miss a chance to layer it on!

How did you attach your trasharoo; seems very simple, wrapped around the tail gate, don't know why more of us without the spare carrier aren't thinking like this.
Would like to see how u did it, thx

Just around the tailgate, simple

Is that the muffler side? Any chance of trash getting to hot and becoming an incinerator? I like it, time to invest on one

Family hauling!

If I were you I wold get four diamond rax gutter clamps and two low profile struts and four stainless bolts. Affordable and way beefier than Thule / Yakima setups. I'll snap a closer look of my rack tomorrow.
I'd like to see a closer look as well. Thank you

Not the weekend, but I used mine to pull my nieces car out of a ditch. First rain of the season meant slick roads. She went over the embankment on an off-ramp. Combo of mud and slick grass translated into having to use the lockers to pull her up and out. I was sure glad to have them!

Sorry we missed you guys. I tried to find you a couple of times...

First time ever I didn't have to dry out all the camping stuff after this trip. So there's that.

Do the struts have a channel inside to mount the rack on them?
the clamps can be adjusted up/down about an inch or so, the low profile struts have holes pre drilled in them or you can buy the solid one and drill your own. The clamps were $40 a piece "a few years back" and the struts under $20 for a 5 footer.
