What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (67 Viewers)

Hopefully Vladi80 will jump in and tell us, but there really aren't many ti makers doing a tapered head tube. Most are doing a 44mm and you can run 1.25, 1.25/1.5, and 1.5 just by changing headset cups.

If I had to guess I would say it's a Titan products frame? But so many small custom ti bike makers have popped up recently I am really curious to see who made it as well! :)

What is the name of that bike, can't see it--I'm in the market for a fat bike (light one).

Thanks,

Zona

There aren't many Ti frame builders that make fat bikes, price could be pretty high. And if you want a really light fat bike carbon is the way to go and there are many large volume main brands have them, you can even get carbon fat rims which are amazing!

Yeah I don't necessarily run a fat bike since my old school brain tells me that the bigger the tire the more rolling resistance, I mean I used to ride a 2.1f/1.85r haha. But my most current all day ride is a 2.7f/2.4r with carbon rims :)

Bump for 733! And I usually change my oil after I've put thru the 3rd LARGE bottle of Mobile!

I did this a few weeks ago I posted in my build thread but posting it here too.

One problem I have been wanting to solve for awhile is a rear cargo mat, since I did not get the gray one I wanted last summer. I carry lots of boxes/parts to and from the shop, to meet locals, or to drop off at a mechanic occasionally. My cargo area was getting a tad dirty. I ended up making my own from some awesome recycled material I got at Tractor Supply. When I had my 87 FJ60, the PO had the same type of mat in the back and it worked really well.

Here is the stuff Rubber Mat, Black, 4 ft. x 6 ft. - For Life Out Here It's very heavy, guessing about 80lbs and is 3/4" thick. I pulled out a rear carpet I had and traced it. This will handle anything I put back there now and I don't have to worry about getting my carpet dirty or ruined.

Yeah that wouldn't have exactly been my finest work! Those stock wheels have seen better days so I wasn't too worried about it.

nice paint job ; ) you should sand blast, prime, and paint or powdercoat the stock rims - they're great wheels, worth keeping

Haha I am thinking about doing that and selling them, but I am sold on the wheels I am buying.
