Installed the (missing) trim ring around the ignition. For $4-5, it makes a huge difference.

spilled axle grease on moving blankets transporting a transmission this weekend. ugh..

weathertech kept it off the carpet though, so, RAD!.

Installed BPS G8 LED headlights.

Left my GX with Gary Kardum of Mudrak Custom Cruisers in Sonoma to add lift, sliders, skids, lockers and re-gear.

Used my two favorite vehicles alot on the same day; Best of both worlds. I forgot to get a picture of the GX at Mudrak's so I'll troll you with a picture of my getaway vehicle. Keep the suspense going till I show you the lifted GX in a few weeks.

Installed the CBI ditch light brackets at the bottom corner of the windshield and verified that the single Rugged Industries flood LED would work good. This was meant to be a camp light on the back of my old 80 series so now I need to buy a second one to use on the front of the Lexi.

*Tip the hood will shift once you loosen one side so I would recommend an extra set of hands because this is a project that you need three hands or it is very difficult to do by yourself. I got the alignment pretty close for one person working on it.

Picked up the Yellow Top I've been ogling for awhile. Pep Boys has a 25% off promo right now which took the total down to $192 for the 34/78 model with top and side terminals.

I'd installed the battery mount a few weeks back and the dual battery kit delivers tomorrow from Amazon. Funny enough the cover still fits right over the battery so I may keep using it. So the next few days should be interesting as I do my first dual battery wiring install.

I also replaced the worn out struts for the hood which kept falling randomly. Now you really need to pull down to get the hood closed which is perfect. Thank you liftsupportdepot.com

Oh wow, the TrailGear box fits quite nicely. I might have to grab one of those - it's the last piece I need for my dual battery system.

Ya the box is about perfect size-wise, and you can't beat the price, but it was interesting trying to find the best way to mount it in that location considering the shape of the wheel well. I should have taken pics but I ended up installing an 8" piece of leftover aluminum tubing along the center of the bottom plate. Then drilled 3 holes in the fender and tightened it down towards the front of the box. It's fairly sturdy once it's all bolted together. I'll try to take the battery back out once more and get some pics just to give an idea for mounting.
