View attachment 1458897 View attachment 1458896 Installed CBI fab ditch light brackets and a pair of Rigid Duallys in the Flood variety.

I had one of the same RI Floods sitting in my garage from a future project for my old 80 series so I figured I would buy a second one now that I installed the ditch light brackets. But the problem with ordering the lights years apart is now the new one that just came in is 200 + Lumenes from the other. I am going to get them wired up and see if it's a big difference.

Probably not noticeable unless your looking for it. They are some bright little lights. My wiring harness from RI was all wrong but I got it figured it after about 8 blown fuses.

Hey Bamagirl, good to see you here on MUD. You going to GSMTR?
Unfortunately I am not going to make it to GSMTR this year. I went to it in 2015 but made plans to go to a ride around Cleveland, TN on the 20th. I need to get back up to Windrock and ride before my yearly permit expires.
I am trying to be careful and conserve since my Colorado trip is less than 2 months away. I am wanting to swing by Moab while I am out there. Did some checking and it is less than 4 hours from Silverton, Colorado where ETO is meeting so I told my dad we would be crazy not to make that short drive to Moab as close as we are going to be.
I can hardly wait for the trip! :bounce:

Took it in today to have the airbag module recall done.

Nice! TRD or FN F(x) Pro with TRD center caps?

I'm pricing out a front end rebuild now. I heard some creaky clunk noise today and I know my upper ball joint boots are torn, so it may be time to buy suspension and do inner/outer tie rod ends, UCAs, sway bar bushings, and steering rack boots while I'm at it.

Genuine TRD.

It's always sunny in Moab!! ;)

If you have inside information on the best places to go to see it and experience it lightly I'd sure be appreciative.

If your gx isn't quite ready, the best way to do Moab is to rent a side by side (Razor), shred whatever trails you want then drive home in the gx. Hell next time I go there I'm renting one of those things for a day just to bash it and forget it. Cheers

I used to own Polaris Rzr and a Honda Rincon before doing the truck/GX/Overlanding thing... I have been looking up some places to explore in Moab. I was told by a guy in Alabama Overland that there are simple dirt roads to do to see some of the area. I have to try to fit this into my trip because we are supposed to be riding in Colorado Monday through Friday but what I'd like to do is finish up riding with the ETO group on Thursday and visit Moab on Friday and then after that start making our way back to Alabama. 4 Hours is nothing compared to the 24 hours of driving its going to take for us to even get out there. I also found a scenic paved road to check out that takes a couple hours.
I'd love to be able to explore out there around Christmas/New Years time because our plant shuts down for almost 2 weeks and I could use way less vacation time to make a trip out there. I need a goal to work towards for next year's adventure too. :D
