| My 2003 GX470 I recently purchased a very nice GX470 from some local folks that literally treated it as a child. I was happy to see a full service history, including a new cooling system (radiator), all interval maintenance done, etc. When I got her she was bone stock.
I started feeling the itch for wheeling again, so I was searching around. I saw Lexwoody, BonnerBB, etc. and their iterations of lifts, tires, mods, etc. and my hopes lifted. I bought this truck because it is a Prado underneath.

| Nice looking ride!! What kind of tires are those? Did you replace the air suspension with coil springs and OME shocks? What type? My wife has a 2006 and I'm thinking if/when the air suspension goes out to replace it with coils/OME shocks.

| I did not use OME. I replaced the airbags, this was not a small project. I used Iron Man 4x4.
Those are Goodyear Duratracs, 285/75/17, which are just shy of 34"

| Cool to see someone use something other than OME (not considering coilovers). Looking forward to the build as I'm slowing building my GX as well. |

Thanks!

| I will share a lot more detail when I get it back. I want to actually wheel it and approve of the performance before I chat it up too much

| Just got it home. Rides amazing, looks amazing. I am really glad I opted for the completely custom sliders vs. trying to make something else fit.

| Yep! We go next weekend and the weekend after that. I will share a whole lot more then. This is a full replacement with real coils and shocks all around...including completely fabricating the rear spring system. It also has a full skid plate system made of aluminum and some really amazing one of a kind sliders with some MAJOR beef to them.

| Man, I really need to start building up my GX as well! I've been putting much time into my FJ80 and the GX has been neglected all week.

| Phase II for the GX will be even better...front bumper, dual batteries, winch, snorkel, and some other odds and ends. Just have to save up!
