Oh good eye! I totally missed that!

@Guyute is the shroud deeper than the OEM? Looking really slick now dude.
Thanks, Man.

Not sure on the depth comparison. Had the earlier metal shroud and it had been ugly modified at some point. So knew I'd be replacing. The TT radiator is a little longer and wider and the shroud holes didn't line up for me. Was also worried the yellow dot fan wouldn't fit. Fan is about 1" wider. Didn't take many pictures comparing. Fan tucks into the shroud the same as my old set-up though.

Found these.

Trimmed a wee bit for the lower radiator tube, cut those tabs off. Also made brackets to hold the shroud's center section snug to the HD foam seal.

1/2" x 8 = little more better

Started the cut and buff on the paint. Not going crazy on it, but leveling it pretty good.
Looking better and better!

If that were here in Michigan, it would mean putting your Cruiser back away for a couple of weeks to get some rain to wash the stupid salt off the roads!
Otherwise, it looks great!

they salt the roads pretty much everywhere nowadays, here in Az they started spraying a brine a few years back. many places are even doing a magnesieum chloride, THAT is way more corrosive than just salt.

after ADOT started doing it i made a little sprayer in the driveway that i can turn on and drive the vehicles over, and i started an undercoating regimine.

The Mag Chloride thing started here too. They use salt/sand at intersections and Mag Cloride down the lanes. Lovely.
Kind of like forced obsolescence on land cruisers as punishment for them not having engineered obsolescence

Cut twice and it's still too short :flipoff2:

Nice to know that some part of this nation still gets precipitation and cool air.
Apparently there are some odd weather patterns going on this spring. That said, last spring around this time the pass just east of town got over 10" of snow. The interstate was closed for over 10 hours.

I've heard they use calcium chloride around here during the winter, still fairly nasty stuff. Not much point putting anything down yesterday, snow on the roads was gone by morning.

Buttoned up my last two projects then gave her a quick wash yesterday.

Cooling refresh: New Terrain Tamer AL radiator, top tank temp sensor, yellow dot fan, 1HD shroud, new T-stat and hoses/clamps
PS refresh: New gearbox, hard/soft tube assy, pump, reservoir, hoses, clamps, nuts/bolts

PS fill/bleed was great fun. Ended up spraying the area with ATF when my janky bleed bottle overflowed.

Several test drives with no leaks. Hope I didn't jinx myself but, installed new aprons on both sides to end my day.

Onto the remote transmission cooler project. Found a spot to mount it and sourced all the crap I need for that.

Top tank sensor?
