I'm thinking this one could rock a half-cab. Ignore me but note the Chief Engineer.

Prep for lift install.
Factory springs flat and on bump stops.

When pulled tires found the tie rod ends had bit of play, so replaced with 555 from cruiser outfitters.

Little bit of work each night this week.

Don't forget to paint the 555 stuff, depending on the environment you're driving in, it'll rust out quick, like just a few years. Don't ask me how I know...

Roof off, front screen/ frame off, need to do som welding, but all in all not too bad rust wise, but I want to get the doors off and the front wing……plenty of bolts (stainless going in next time), but I’m damned if I can see where the wings are hiding the remaining bolts.

You just reminded me that I need to get my windscreen frame out and rustproof it.

Got some mud (and snow) on the tires :D

Where did you source them? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Best looking ones I've seen.

Local ARB-dealer Cros4wd.fi here in Finland ordered them from Australia. I found product numbers from ARB-catalog, front BF12010FG and rear BF12020RG. Rear flares are for without OE rear tank, I think there is also option for with OE rear tank. Those are made of fiberglass and originally gray, but I painted them matte black with urethane paint.

I know some have been looking for flares without a second tank.

Discovered an interesting quirk the past few days. With temps below 30 in the dark mornings, if I turn the lights off, the headlights stay on. The park and fog lights turn off but the headlights do not, at least not immediately. While it warmed up today, I turned the light switch off, went inside for a minute and came back out and the lights had turned off at some point. As it warms up, the condition goes away and the lights respond correctly.

…sticky relay, if it’s 30+ years old maybe it’s time to retire and replace…

Guessing it's 90987-02006

Also guessing it's above the driver's foot well.

Anyone able to confirm this?
