Ultimate OEM 60 series parts still in stock (1 Viewer)

I'm actually in the middle of placing an order (waiting on the parts to arrive at the dealership). Unsurprisingly, most of the parts I checked on were NLA, to include:

5 speed shift knob
Parking brake boot
HVAC vents
HVAC surround bezel
HJ60 mirrors (I do believe the FJ60 mirrors, which none of us want, are still for sale)
The wingnut which secures the jack in the quarter panel

Contingent upon not being cancelled by Toyota, these are still available:

8155190A00 - Pass. Taillight Lens
8175029145 - Left & Right Rear Marker Light Assy.
8151190A00 - Right Front Park Light Lens
9991312000 - Pliers for Tool Kit
9991510700 - Screwdriver for Tool Kit
- Driver Taillight Assy.

Yup...most of the above is gone or becoming gone real quick. But, 5 speed knob is readily available.

5 speed knob: 33504-14050-B8 (I have 5 in stock)

Driver taillight assy is now discontinued. I have the last one and the I also have the last passenger side taillight assy. Both are goners.

HJ60 mirrors were never offered in the US market.

The manual FJ62 mirrors, IMO, are much nicer and readily available. I have 2 of those in stock as well. :)

In other news...

Hood insulator came in today.

:bounce2:

And the last FJ60 grill.

Please tell me there are still 62 grilles and headlight doors, I want chrome eventually

Grille is discontinued. There is one dealer in the country who has the part. I am in contact with that dealer to see if I can procure it for my department.

:)

The headlight doors are barely still available.

EDIT: I now have the last one in the US.

:)

Cool. :) That's actually what I was trying to get, just without the chrome (if the manuals even came that way).

FJ62 Fuel Tank

Beno,
I must have gotten the last one, I had mine replaced 8 months ago. I tried to order the "kit" but was told it was NLA. I then tried to order every individual part and got everything. (sorry i would of attached the qoute from you if I could just figure out how to do it)

Quite possibly Jeff. Sucks they killed these parts now.

Has anyone ever tried having the grilles re-chromed? I don't know how well the aged plastic would stand up to the process.

I will say the after market grills from Tong Yang are just as good as the Toyotas. At 35.00 apiece well worth the money I've been using them for years and none have broken or dechromed like the oems have. Mike

This thread makes me sad

Upon reading this thread, I went and called my local dealer and had them bring in a gasket set for the top end for me. It includes the HG manifold and some other things. It was real pricey but if my HG ever decides to go, I will be set. Ironically they told me the HG isn't available as as single unit anymore. I have doubts about that. The usual guy I deal with wasn't in so I just got the whole kit, regardless..
I thought I read on here that the HG is not available as a kit anymore, hmmm go figure...One thing that they said they have and I want to get is the stock exhaust system! I was surprised. I was told around 400 for the entire system less the cat, which in essence I don't need. I don't even have one on there anymore, the cat that is...

A few more discontinued items that recently came in to me.

I ordered 8 of the armrests in gray. They of course backordered.....wait...wait....wait....

Finally check on the status of the live part: DISCONTINUED. So, they sent me three and killed the other 5. Got the last 3 in the country. Part is now discontinued.

:(

The really nice screws that hold these in place are also discontinued.

I was also looking at some of the body mounting cushions, bolts, retainers, washers, spacers and nuts.

Luckily, all of these parts are still available. I have been thinking about replacing all of the body mounts on my 60 and have been putting together the list of part numbers needed.

Also, front and rear bumpers and bumperettes are still available too. My DS rear is banged up a bit and just ordered a replacement.

I'm getting ready to do a frame swap on my 60. How much are all the body mount hardware bits shipped to 27609?

Thanks,
Tyler

Cool, do you know of a dealer, and does Tong Yang make the headlight doors too?
