19102-43060.

It's very odd. The Toyota procurement system shows about 45 of them in the US. When you try to order them, they "manufacturer cancelled" due to it now being a non-import part.

Screwed up. Lots of parts are disappearing this way. :frown:

And this is the rotor that's on top of the distributor shaft under the cap?

Will the 3FE rotor interchange with any of the 2F rotors?

Yes, the dizzy rotor.

No, the 3FE rotor is the same as the 1FZ-FE: 19102-61240

That won't be going anywhere for a long time.

Great thread. I'll try to contribute as I get a chance.

One item of recent bad news though: later 2F rotor is now discontinued

:frown:

Once it's gone, it's gone forever? Do they ever start making parts again? I guess it is aftermarket from now on....ugh!

beno posted the part number required to stay OEM, just don't ask your local parts guy for an FJ62 rotor, ask for it by part number

Onur, on your wireset part # it shows it as being for up through 1985. When I tried ordering a wireset for my 87 it said it was discontinued.

Anyone know if I can use this set for my 87?

Thanks,
Matt

A guy had a new OEM set in classifieds real cheap. I would of bought them but I just got a set from Onur. :hillbilly:

This thread kinda makes me sad......I wish Toyota would keep production in place of FJ-60 parts. I was reading an article about Mercedes Benz, and they will produce any part for any year or model car they have ever made; now that is customer service!!

Kind of an EPC anomoly. For some strange reason, the EPC does not show the wire number for 1986-1987 FJ60's.

But the correct part number is the one that shows for a 1985 FJ60 which I listed above.

Luckily, CDan shows me the tricks of trade learned through 32 years of being a parts geek. I only hope to be half as good. :)

By the way, Toyota has graciously re-instated the "big" rotor: 19102-43060 which was previously discontinued to our amazement.

But there aren't many left in the country: maybe about 20 or so remaining in Ontario,CA. I got myself 3 to last me awhile just in case supply runs out and Toyota decides against importing anymore.

This PN is good only through 11/1984.

Mid-11/1984 and later requires 90480-18001 for the grommet.

PCV stays the same.
All the 2F PCV grommets are interchangeable. PCv valve and socket in side cover never change. I recommend the earlier number (18180) because the grommet is bigger, such that it wraps over the top outside of the pipe, providing a better seal against water running down inside the engine.
