toydiy is not a valid indicator of live part numbers. And many of the p/n's have been superceded
Thats correct, but sure is nice to see what things costed when they were available. I also try parts voice to check if any local dealers have the part available, you can also get to touch and feel it before dropping the coin, and of course it helps to see if its actually what you were looking for.

someone on here turned me onto it. Partsvoice requires you create an account, but after that all you do is select the make of vehicle followed by the oem part # and it will indicate what dealer has that particular part in stock. Its really cool, ive found a ton of stuff locally .

Front Brake Pads: 04465 35170 (set, same as Hilux)
Spring for above: 47748 60010 (need two per side)

fuel filter

So, I found a fuel filter is still available. Not a glass bowl, as original, but the rest is identical. Best thing is the price. Less than a new filter.

233300-30012 6 bucks.

Great thread, just an fyi, I picked the following from my local dealer (tlca discount), so still in stock:

Front bumper, brackets for it, shift knob, and a window handle.

Hi can you tell me more about the battery trays. what is the diference? I will need to buy the tray, the retainer and the nuts? :hillbilly:

I found battery trays for my 68' and the retainer piece for the top.

I will post pics when they come in.

74403-60050 $40.53

74404-60030 changes to 74404-60060
74404-60060 $11.94

What is your question on the battery tray?

In post #49 I had a picture of a older and newer battery tray. Here are the part numbers and items from toyodiy:

The 69' per toyodiy:

74404 PLATE SUB-ASSY, BATTERY SET
74404-60030 FJ40, 55; FOR N50 1 $24.10
74404-60050 FJ40, 55; FOR N70Z 1
74411 CARRIER, BATTERY
74403-60011 FJ4*; FOR N50 1 $51.88
74403-60050 FJ40, BJ40; FOR N70Z 1 $64.52
74453 SUPPORT, BATTERY CARRIER
74401-60011 FJ40 1
74454 SHIM (FOR BATTERY CARRIER SUPPORT)
52321-55010 FJ4*, BJ40 4 $7.07

for my 75:

74404-60030 FJ4*; FOR N50 1 $24.10
74404-60050 FJ40, BJ40; FOR N70Z 1
74411 CARRIER, BATTERY
74403-60011 FJ4*; FOR N50 1 $51.88
74403-60050 FJ40, BJ40; FOR N70Z 1 $64.52
74453 SUPPORT, BATTERY CARRIER
74401-60020 FJ4* 1
74454 SHIM (FOR BATTERY CARRIER SUPPORT)
52321-55010 FJ4*, BJ40 4 $7.07

As you can see the 68' is much smaller. Also, it is not quite stock, as the sides are different height

Rear side marker light gasket. Left side I think. 81764-60020. $6.52.

I ordered one of each side, but only this one was left. I bought three of the last 8 or so according to the dealer. I just modified one to fit the other side. And one for a spare in case I goofed it up. So with only four or five left in the US what is the bid for mine? Starting at $100!

Just kidding ;)

the part numbers looks like they are the same in the 69 and 75 the only diferent one is the SUPPORT, BATTERY CARRIER 69 is 74401-60011 and 75 is 74401-60020 right? so you can go with the big tray or the small tray right? my is a 78 so I will need to buy

74403-60050
74404-60050
74401-60020
52321-55010
right?

sorry for being so dumb still a rookie

Tmarx, does that fuel door lock have a pn? Thinking it would be good to use to lock glove box.

Thanks, Dan
