Very nice! Another item to add to my Christmas list... how much was it?

here's another item.. the rubber shims that support the hood.. at 11+ bucks each that's @ $45 for the four of them (b4 discount).. kinda pricey for what they are i thought :meh:.

The parts guy at my local toyota shop (Ira Toyota in Milford, MA) told me that there is no such thing as an FJ40 and my VIN was wrong. It was really a funny conversation, especially since he was a dick about it. My point is, some dealers are more helpful than others. There are other dealers around here who know where their company came from. FYI when trying to track down stuff through the parts dept.

Thats funny.

Im lucky to work at a dealer so I can be there when they are looking up parts. We have the original paper catalog as well, so I can look up stuff myself.

Hey Trollhole, you ought to start one of these threads in the 60's section as well...

Anyone have a picture of a oem toyota fuel tank installed on a 40 that mounts on the spare tire area? Trying to find pics of it. Also what fuel can does it use?

Thanks so much.

If you mean the tank itself then sorry, but I gave the 2nd one to a buddy of mine. When I placed the order Toy Japan cliamed that it was the last 2 in stock :meh:

Muffler and intake hose

Got the air intake hose for for my 78 from Toyota with the carb-side clamp. Intake horn no longer available. Got the horn on eBay but still can't find the front bracket/clamp combo :bang:

Got the stock 78 muffler and gaskets from Toyota - hanger hardware no longer available... Workmanship on the muffler a little rough :)
